What Made Him Abandon Shiba Inu (SHIB) Project?

Although Steven Cooper has been taking action without sharing more information about the reason for dissociating himself and the company from Shiba Inu (SHIB), he has finally spoken with International Business Times (IBTimes) in a series of DMs on why he left.

According to IBTimes, his decision to abandon the crypto project came after a recent Discord call with Shiba Inu developers. He said the call was about a deal for Bigger Entertainment to provide in-store playlists for Welly’s, the blockchain-based fast-food chain in Naples, Italy, which sealed a partnership with Shiba Inu in February 2022.

Steven Cooper noted:

“They reached out to us to make that deal. That’s why we were invited to this Discord group.”

Cooper stated that the call didn’t go well. He said he met with lots of accusations, coupled with hatred for allegedly sharing too many questions publicly and being too petty with Shiba Inu (SHIB).

Cooper who is nearing 40 said all the developers behind avatars are from “what felt like young 20-somethings”, adding that “During this call, many things were brought up that were concerning to us. We were freely told how much Bone was cashed out from Shibaswap, where the direction of burns was going, etc.”

According to IBTimes, Cooper was shocked by the attitude of the Shiba Inu team during the call. He said, “Between the information shared, the tone of the conversation, being cursed out, and no regard for community burn efforts, we decided it was best to disassociate completely.”

“They were asking me what other coins I was promoting, why I was working with this (particular) person, why I’m being petty with Shib, etc. I had no involvement in any of it and was blindsided. Felt like a scare tactic,” he added.

He said they also threatened to denounce him if he fails to tell the truth. According to Cooper, he’s totally unaware of all the allegations leveled against him. He added that he was labeled as a scammer during the Discord call.

Bigger Entertainment founder noted:

“it pains me to be labeled as a scammer and be accused of lack of transparency when it feels like the [Shiba Inu] team hides behind avatars, doesn’t share financials with the public, etc.”

In the course of the conversation with IBTimes, Cooper disclosed that Bigger Entertainment was never paid for its services while working with the Shiba Inu team.

He said they were just “community members who had large investments and wanted to see [Shiba Inu] rise. We have never been supported by the dev team.”

“All in all, I don’t really want the drama from this, but feel it’s important that the community know the way they (the dev team) treat others.”

In conclusion, Cooper’s experience, IF TRUE, shows the need for regulation and transparency in the crypto community, where crimes from rug-pull schemes and money laundering thrive, and where developers are majorly answerable to nobody.

Steven Cooper Abandons Shiba Inu Project Completely

Steven Cooper made this vital decision known on 1st April 2022. He said the Shiba Inu burn campaign, which was launched in 2021 and spearheaded by Bigger Entertainment, has ended.

In a tweet on 1st April, Steven Cooper wrote, “Due to recent developments, we’ve decided to end our SHIB burning campaign. We’ve exited our holdings and will be removing related assets. We’ll burn pending burns tonight. We’re content knowing we inspired many burning initiatives that will live on. Thank you to the community. (Not April Fools),”  

After the unexpected announcement, Cooper also deleted the tweet in order to have nothing mentioning Shiba Inu (SHIB) on his Twitter handle’s feed.

On 3rd April 2022 in a tweet, Cooper, who was indirectly addressing the Shiba Inu community, stated that he’s sure that the company has taken the right step.

Cooper Took the First Step in February

Back in mid-February 2022, Steven Cooper announced that the crypto record label has stopped the usual sales of Shiba Inu (SHIB) burn tickets.

Back then, Cooper wrote, “Sorry, had to remove the last post. Bigger Entertainment WILL still be burning, WILL still host burn parties, etc. We simply won’t be doing burn tickets anymore. We’ll find new and creative ways to do the burn party where we aren’t managing the money and protecting our reputation.

Steven Cooper and his company have now made a final goodbye to the Shiba Inu community without disclosing the major reason behind the decision. However, both cooper and the Shiba Inu community have benefitted from the short-lived relationship.

According to available data, a total of 410.30 trillion SHIB tokens have been burned since the launch of the meme token. At launch, Shiba Inu (SHIB) had a total supply of one quadrillion tokens, but 50% of these tokens were locked in a smart contract to provide liquidity on decentralized exchanges (DEX) Uniswap, while the remaining half was sent to the Ethereum co-founder, Vitalik Buterin.

Afterward, Buterin burned relatively 90% of SHIB tokens donated to him in a transaction that completely removed over 410 trillion SHIB from the circulating supply.

After the notable SHIB burn, the Shiba Inu community turned SHIB burning into a custom via burn parties conducted by Bigger Entertainment and a number of firms that use part of their profits to burn tokens.

It can be recalled that Cooper announced the indefinite suspension of the sale of SHIB burn-party tickets in order to save the reputation of his crypto record label, Bigger Entertainment. Back then, he promised that the company will come out with a new SHIB burn strategy.

According to Cooper, Bigger Entertainment aims to see SHIB price rise up to $0.01, which is why the burn must continue.

SHIBFIT App is seen as one of the innovative ways to burn SHIB. The App aims to burn SHIB as much as users would maintain their fitness and burn calories.

The App is designed to serve ads. A percentage of the revenue generated from the ads will be used for SHIB token burn. Howbeit, the percentage is yet to be confirmed by the company.

Steven Cooper had earlier tweeted that the SHIB Army could expand almost twice, from relatively 1,170,000 to at least 2 million, with each member holding at least 294.5 million SHIB.

He then said if 1 million holders start sending $30 worth of SHIB daily, one trillion SHIB will be burned in total.

306.1 Million SHIB Tokens Burned in the Last 24 Hours

A couple of hours ago, Shibburn reported that a total of 306,104,347 SHIB tokens have been destroyed in the last 24 hours.

The burning process has been consistent. The goal is to see the price of SHIB rise up to the $0.01 price level. According to the community, though the price tag could be outrageous, it’s possible.

Thus, another big lump of SHIB has been taken out of the circulating supply, which initially totaled a staggering one quadrillion.

As the report has it, the crypto record label, Bigger Entertainment burned the largest percentage of the amount mentioned above.

During the scheduled burn party that took place on Valentine’s Day, the firm burned a total of 240,192,701 tokens during a live YouTube stream.

Before the burn party on 14th February, Steven Cooper, the founder of Bigger Entertainment, announced that relatively 1 billion Shiba Inu tokens will be destroyed altogether this week.

Out of the nearly 1 billion tokens, the firm destroyed 240.1 million. He added that the gaming platform @317_key plans to burn about 500 million SHIB through one of its phone games, Bricks Buster.

163 Million SHIB Burned in the Last Week

Shibburn, the platform that tracks all Shiba Inu tokens that are sent to the dead wallet, also reported that 163 million SHIB tokens were permanently removed from the circulating supply with 71 transactions in the last seven days.

Shibburn tweeted, “On the other hand, the official Twitter handle of Shibburn reported that over 163 million tokens were taken out of circulation by Shiba Inu Community in the last seven days. To be precise, 163,931,960 tokens were registered as burned with 71 transactions.”

Shiba Inu Tokens Burn Should Drive Price Up To $0.01

According to Cooper in a tweet a couple of days ago, the Shiba Inu burning initiative could drive the price of SHIB up to $0.01.

He said in the tweet that the Shiba Inu community members could indirectly participate in the burning spree by just sharing music, YouTube vids, merch, NFTs, among others, to other crypto community members.

Steven Cooper noted:

“Our goal isn’t for shib holders to always burn their coins. Our goal is to spread music, YouTube vids, merch, NFT’s, etc to audiences outside of shib army. This is how we reach a .01. By building an ecosystem where people are burning w/o even knowing it. Through entertainment.

According to a video recently published on YouTube by Bigger Entertainment founder Steven Cooper, the firm is working on increasing its monthly SHIB burn rate to a whopping 1.3 billion tokens worth around $10,000 at current prices.

Cooper pointed out that the team is planning to achieve this with three tools, including YouTube videos, playlists, and gaming.
