The leading exchange described the new development as a means to work with LEASH and BONE to give its members a chance to receive returns of up to 10% APY with Staking.

Going by the report, the staking period is 30 days from the launch date and there will be preparation and distribution periods at the start and end of the investment.

Bitrue said the BONE and LEASH staking is slated to begin at 13:00 UTC on the 12th of July. The exchange urged users to join the bandwagon at the early stage as these investments often sell out extremely quickly.

Bitrue Lists LEASH

Just about 24 hours ago, the top crypto exchange Bitrue announced the listing of LEASH, giving its users access to its deposit features on the trading platform.

The launch of spot trading for the LEASH/USDT pair is scheduled for July 12, 2023, at 10:00 (UTC), according to the official announcement. The report added that the withdrawal feature for LEASH will be active on July 13, 2023, at 10:00 (UTC).

The smart contract audit aimed to check for the presence of any common vulnerabilities and centralization exploits in the solidity source codes of the AI-based project.

Upon completion of the auditing exercise, it was concluded that Bad Idea AI’s smart contract has zero major and critical issues. The minor and medium issues found were resolved accordingly per the report.  

This implies that the innovative project, which recently became a part of the expanding Shiba Inu ecosystem, is resistant to any form of hacks and safe to be utilized by any organization. 

SHIB Marketing specialist and the renowned community influencer took to Twitter to publicize this update with the Shiba Inu community, hailing their newest partner. This further showed that the SHIB team is sealing partnerships with trusted projects as they gear towards the mainnet launch of Shibarium.

Wen Shibarium?

The Shiba Inu layer-2 solution, which promises to catalyze the expansion of the second-largest decentralized meme token ecosystem, is expected to be launched on the mainnet in August during the Blockchain Futuristic Conference. 

Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer disclosed this last week as earlier reported by Times Tabloid. This conference which has Shiba Inu as its title sponsor is slated to take place in Toronto. While community members are eager to see the mainnet release of Shibarium, maximum interactions have been recorded on the testnet version of the L2 solution, Puppynet.

According to data extracted by Times Tabloid from the Shibarium-built blockchain explorer dubbed Puppyscan, the beta testnet of the Shiba Inu layer-2 network has reached new milestones in terms of the number of wallet addresses and total transactions. 

In particular, more than 100,000 wallet addresses have been created on Puppynet in less than 24 hours alone. As of March 30, Puppyscan recorded 100,122 wallets on the Shiba Inu layer-2 network Shibarium. But today, the wallet count is more than double, standing at 202,137 at press time.

This shows an increase of over 100% within 24 hours, indicating a widespread adoption of the first-ever Shiba Inu scaling solution. Accordingly, the number of total transactions on Puppynet has increased dramatically. From its Beta testnet’s launch date till the time of writing, total transactions recorded on Puppynet stand at 1,076,331 and counting. 

On the other hand, the total number of blocks added to the Shiba Inu layer-2 network is 177,368 with an average block height of 7.7 at the time of writing. So far, the highest daily transaction count on Shibarium Beta Testnet was recorded on March 28 with 144,458 transactions being completed. Today, 9,530 transactions have been completed on PuppyNet at press time. 

PuppyNet records all these milestones amid the large-scale FUD that was thrown at the project weeks back. Recall that the Shibarium Beta Testnet was claimed to be a clone of a project called Rinia Network given that both shared the same Chain ID at the time.

As published, Shibarium’s development team debunked these claims and later changed PuppyNet’s Chain ID to a unique code. Also, a recent report showed that 500 validators have applied to be given a slot out of the available 100 to run blockchain nodes on the Shibarium mainnet network when it is finally launched.

BONE Now Supported in Bermuda Privacy Wallet

An exciting and positive development recently reached the Bone Shibaswap (BONE) token. Per a Monday update, the Shiba Inu ecosystem token has gained support in the Bermuda privacy wallet alongside the stablecoin, DAI.  

This development comes two months after Bermuda integrated the second-largest decentralized meme token Shiba Inu (SHIB) into its privacy protocol.

Notably, Bermuda is a non-custodial privacy-driven decentralized application (DApp). This means that users can now shuffle BONE without their wallet addresses, identity, and other personal information being revealed to any third party when they use the Dapp.

With this high level of privacy being attached to transactions involving the Bone Shibaswap governance token, deep-pocket whales and top players concerned about privacy may shift their attention to BONE. 

Of course, this could fuel a massive rally in the price of the Shiba Inu ecosystem token similar to the recent Shibarium-inspired price surge. Recall that Crypto.com recently enabled BONE to be used for payments in over 80 million merchants worldwide. 

The increasing adoption of BONE follows the news that the token would be the only gas currency in the upcoming Shibarium project ecosystem. 

Bermuda To Support Shibarium

To add icing on the cake, Bermuda hinted at possible future support for the upcoming Shiba Inu layer-2 scaling solution. 

“We will be releasing a cross-chain update in the coming months and will be supporting a number of L1’s and L2’s,” Bermuda wrote in response to a user who asked to know their plans for Shibarium.

Live on beta testnet, Shibarium is expected to be launched on mainnet later this year. As, the project’s full documentation is completed and several validators have been granted access to run the Shibarium Beta testnet.

According to the official Twitter handle of the Shiba Inu (SHIB) crypto project, the Public Beta launch of Shibarium is scheduled to happen this week. But the exact day and time are yet to be told to the public. 

As per the update shared on Twitter on Tuesday, the Shibarium team will subsequently share all the necessary guides and information needed to navigate the layer-2 scaling solution website. 

The tweet read, “Attention ShibArmy. We’re thrilled to announce that Shibarium Public Beta will be launching this week! Make sure you’re following our official socials over the next few days as we reveal all the details on how to access the beta website. Hail Shib!”

Notably, the Shibarium innovation which was first spoken of in 2021 by Shiba Inu developers is a second-layer blockchain platform on the Shiba Inu network. It aims to make the second-largest decentralized crypto network more scalable and fast. 

Also, Shibarium is a low-cost, powerful, and decentralized global system designed to enhance the growth of various businesses, projects, and platforms. 

It bears mentioning that the Shibarium team is currently accepting collaborations in different capacities including content creation, and running a validator node amongst others. So far, over 3,000 intake forms have been submitted via the Shibariumtech website. 

LucieSHIB, a top Shibarium proponent confirmed this via a tweet adding that anyone can apply to partner or work with the layer-2 project as there is no deadline. 

She wrote, “Over 3000 intake forms have been submitted to Shibariumtech. The first to receive a response was the content creator, new project owners, and tokens. Not all .. still in progress. There is no deadline – you can always apply.”

To become a Shibarium network validator, one of the known requirements is holding at least 10,000 BONE tokens, Lucie also revealed.

BONE, the native and governance token of the Bone Shibaswap ecosystem has been performing nicely following the expectation of Shibarium. Last week, BONE got listed on the Crypto.com trading App, enabling it to be spent at over 80 million merchants.

NOWNodes Announces Support for Shibarium

NOWNodes, a leading blockchain–as–a–Service (BaaS) provider announced today that it would be among the first node providers for the upcoming Shibarium Layer 2 network project. 

“As Shibarium is coming sometime later this year, our engineers are preparing for ShibariumNet release. NOWNodes will provide shared and dedicated access to SHIB Shibarium Blockchain,” the update read. 

As per the tweet, NOWNodes also gave a clue on when the highly anticipated Shiba Inu–powered project would be released. According to the BaaS solution provider, rumors suggest Shibarium should be experienced between late Spring and mid Summer of 2023.

This development goes further to indicate NOWNode’s strong support for Shiba Inu-related projects and the overall decentralized meme token ecosystem. Last August, the top node services provider listed Bone Shibaswap (BONE) on its platform to enable developers to access the full Ethereum node and free API tools to build on the BONE network.

Subsequently, the NOWNodes platform also supported the Shiba Inu burn portal reward token, RYOSHI to equally enable developers to have access to the full Ethereum node and free API tools to build on the Ryoshis Vision network.

Shiba Inu and BONE have been performing impressively ever since the Shibarium launch was hinted at. BONE rallied dramatically in early January after the Shibarium team disclosed that the asset would be employed as the gas of the Shiba Inu layer 2 scaling solution.

An update from Trophias, the SHIB Defense Team Co-Lead last December indicated that the Beta takeoff of the Shiba Inu scaling solution, Shibarium is around the corner. According to him, the project team remodeling the SHIB website which was done came to prepare the way for the Shibarium beta launch.

While Shytoshi Kusama didn’t specify the game launch date, William Volk said during the Gamescom event that Shiba Eternity could be fully ready for the wider crypto audience in September, after satisfactory testings.

“It will come out probably in September for other regions, and we’ll have a download day where we intend to get the ShibArmy to all download it,” he said.

To develop Shiba Eternity, Team Shiba Inu partnered with PlaySide Studios, a reputable video game company. Also, the team added other professionals to their game team to build a sustainable product. 

William David Volk, a veteran video game designer and developer was hired to lead the design and implementation of the Shiba Eternity game, which is being developed in collaboration with PlaySide Studios.

Shiba Eternity Enters Testing Phase

It is worth noting that Shiba Eternity has entered the testing stage, indicating the progress of the team behind the project.
