SHIB Metaverse Projected Burns

BezosCrypto It bears noting that in the SHIB Metaverse ecosystem, Virtual Lands or Shiboshi can be renamed by owners. At the time of writing, renaming a virtual land in SHIB Metaverse costs $100 worth of Shiba Inu. 

Therefore, the computation made an assumption based on the fact that all eligible Virtual Lands in SHIB: The Metabers were renamed once with SHIB price sitting at $0.000027. Notably, there are 96,288 renamable Virtual Lands in SHIB Metaverse. 

Accordingly, 356,622,222,222 SHIB could be destroyed from SHIB Metaverse alone assuming the current cost of renaming Shiboshi remains at $100 worth of SHIB. Dividing the cost of renaming a Virtual Land by the assumed price of SHIB (100/0.000027) shows that a whopping 3,703,703 SHIB would be needed to rename a Shiboshi. 

Multiplying the total number of SHIB needed for Shiboshi renaming (3,703,703 SHIB) with the total renamable Shiboshis (96,288) shows that 356,622,222,222 SHIB could be burned per year if all virtual lands on Shiba Inu Metaverse were renamed once. This means that more SHIB could be burned if renaming occurs more than once. 

ShibaSwap 2.0 Burns

Shibaswap is a DEX in the Shiba Inu ecosystem that performs SHIB burn based on trade volume recorded on the decentralized exchange. With the anticipated upgrade to Shibaswap 2.0 to integrate more essential features, the adoption of the DEX could rise, resulting in an increased trade volume. 

Assuming transactional burn is 1% on ShibaSwap and SHIB price is $0.000027, a $10,000,000,000 monthly trading volume would mean that approximately 370,000,000,000 SHIB was traded (10,000,000,000/0.000027). 

Implementing the 1% Shibaswap transactional burn would result in 3.7 trillion SHIB being burned per month. Accordingly, in 12 months, 44.44 trillion SHIB would have been burned. In essence, the higher the trading volume on Shibaswap 2.0, the higher the number of Shiba Inu tokens that would be burned per year. 

Shibarium Potential Burns

Assuming the upcoming Shiba Inu layer-2 scaling solution, Shibarium also implements a 1% transactional burn, the hyped project would equally help to expedite trillions of SHIB, depending on the transaction volume recorded per month. 

Assuming Shibarium has only a $5,000,000,000 trading volume in one month and assuming a price of $0.000027, as much as 185,185,185,185,185 would have been traded in one month. 1% transactional burn would therefore result in 1,851,851,851,851 SHIB being taken out of supply per month and 22.2 trillion SHIB burned per year. 

On the whole, BezosCrypto showed that SHIB supply could be reduced by more than 111 trillion in a year, considering other factors such as community burns and support from other projects aside from the three mentioned above.

In describing Rocket Pond, the announcement stated that “it brings the feel of a hidden resort inside of mountains, The YMCA or KOA camping vibe with wilderness around you mixed with modern luxuries/touristy elements. Unification Hints on Shibarium Launch Date

Shibarium is a Layer 2 solution currently being developed by Shiba Inu developers, alongside the Unification Foundation. Per a recent Medium post, Shibarium is in the testing stages recording three successful alpha and public testnets. The announcement added that Shibarium is “still in plans for the end of the quarter release or sometime shortly thereafter.”

“The initial public beta testnet will focus on the developer/delegator sector in order to enable a robust and ready network to serve the Shib Army once ready. The public beta will also allow a much wider opportunity for open testing and bug fixing, ensuring a secure and streamlined mainnet launch. The testnet will be open to any validator wishing to join — indeed, it is encouraged, especially for operators intending to join the mainnet upon launch,” Unification Foundation added.

A recent blog post published by the Shiba Inu team confirmed that those who locked LEASH for smaller timeframes are now able to access their assets, but they are also waiting for rewards as promised. According to the team, rewards have not yet been distributed due to several factors.

“In our originating communication we established the following criteria: To reward holders who believe in our ecosystem, we’ll distribute the 3% of the funds coming from the Land Event Sales (rewards will be distributed during unlock time), amongst the users who have locked $LEASH, and bid for any land during the time of the first 2 stages for early access (BID EVENT & HOLDER EVENT).

“Depending on the Total Leash and Total Time locked, reward distribution will be proportional to what you lock. ALL Rewards will be sent in $BONE.”

Lands Still Available For Sale

According to the team, there are still Lands in the SHIB metaverse that are still available for sale. And originating contract counts on the sales of lands, which will make rewards distribution go as planned.

Shiba Inu team added:

“The originating contract counts on a sell-out of lands in order to reward and distribute accordingly. We had an exciting release and successful event broadcast, yet we still have lands available and have not sold out, while in our current status of PUBLIC SALE.

“Therefore, in order NOT to make our LEASH LOCK users, and holders wait it out and count on a sell-out acknowledgement, we are constructing a new contract to pursue the distribution of the 3% $BONE to those who participated in locking their LEASH during the first early access events.”

Rewards Distribution Timeframe

The updated contract that will be introduced will make the unlocking rewards possible without the need for selling out.

The Shiba Inu team further stated that “Rewards will become available after the 90 days for locking rewards come to an end for all users, and to be fair to all those who locked, which at this time is set for July 2nd, 2022.”

It should also be noted that the reward distribution will happen once. So, for total rewards to be distributed to users, only Land sales up to the 2nd of July 2022 will be taken into account.

According to the team, on or before the date mentioned above, users who want to get rewards must have locked LEASH and bid at least once on a land plot, or minted land(s) per wallet.

The Shiba Inu team previously announced the details of a new SHIB utility in SHIB: The Metaverse. SHIB will be utilized to add pictures and logos to land plots. When the pictures are changed, the feature will also burn SHIB.
