According to Lucie, TREAT is still in its development phase, which invariably implies that the token was never launched as has been speculated. In addition, she warned the SHIB community to be wary of scammers who seemed to be projecting TREAT as a completed and released project.

For context, TREAT is one of the most anticipated crypto assets in the Shiba Inu ecosystem. Apart from TREAT being a digital asset that would attract users to the Shiba Inu metaverse, it would also be crucial in sustaining liquidity for the SHIB stablecoin.  

What Could Be The Reason For the Stern Warnings 

Based on the findings, Lucie’s outburst could be linked to the rumors and posts speculating in the Shiba Inu community, relaying the impression of a potential TREAT release by the Shiba Inu development team.

Also, aside from the fact that the rumors are baseless and false, they are aimed at scamming unsuspecting crypto investors of their funds and other valuables. 

More alarming is the fact that a Twitter user went as far as speculating that the TREAT went live in January. According to this yet-to-be-identified Twitter user, TREAT was launched quietly in a manner he referred to as the “Ryoshi style.” 

Furthermore, this suspected false news peddler claimed that TREAT was trading actively with other trading pairs on the ShibaSwap decentralized exchange. 

Claims like the one above and similar ones are what the Shiba Inu development team hopes to curtail by drawing the attention of its community members once they notice such misleading information.

Previous Scam Alerts On The Shiba Inu Ecosystem 

The recent outburst by Lucie is not her first. The market strategist had called the attention of Shiba Inu community members to several potential scam ventures. 

In one of our previous reports, Lucie took to Twitter to call the public attention to a fraudulent scheme centered on centralized crypto outlets.

According to the Shiba Inu development team member, some miscreants were suspected of parading themselves as a member of the Shiba Inu community to centralized exchanges to gain unauthorized access to these platforms for obviously fraudulent purposes. 

While scam schemes will constantly evolve and keep emerging as the crypto industry grows, the bottom line remains that TREAT has not been released yet. Presently, any coin in the market with the TREAT ticker is a duplicate and fake.

According to Whale Alert, the tracker of large cryptocurrency transactions from and to exchanges, the volume of Shiba Inu tokens on the move was relatively $270 million, which represents 4.22% of SHIB’s circulating supply and 46% of the exchange’s total reserves in that token.

What CryptoCom CEO Says about the Massive Transaction?

In a tweet this morning, Chris Marszalek, the CEO of CryptoCom, explained the reason behind the massive outflow of Shiba Inu (SHIB) to unknown addresses.

According to Marszalek, standard custody operations are being conducted on CryptoCom to ensure the safety and security of the funds, which is attributed to the reason for the movement of SHIB tokens in trillions.

The CEO also stated that the activity is not expected to affect the exchange’s clients, adding that an update on Crypto.Com assets will soon be released. He concluded that there is no reason to spread FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt).

Following the whopping transfers, the address, which received 24.9 trillion SHIB, became the fourth largest holder of Shiba Inu tokens, according to Etherscan. Ahead of the address are only two hot wallets of another major exchange, Binance. The first place, however, is after the dead address dedicated to SHIB burning. It now holds 410.34 trillion Shiba Inu tokens.

At the time of writing, $0.00001071, with a relatively 3% price downtrend based on 24-hour estimation.

In the same thread of tweets, the core developer said, “We would be at the table with policymakers and would help shape global policy for the MV alongside other giants like FB (bye Zuck), Sand, Decentraland, etc. And please don’t ask my opinion, you already know.”

Shibarium Progress Unaffected By the Collaboration

In response to the announcement, a Shiba Inu community member showcased his concern over the effect of the possible alliance with WEF on the progress of Shibarium, the SHIB layer-2 solution.

The user said the team should get Shibarium working before shifting attention to WEF’s project:

“If that means you stop working on the shibarium then NO! Get that done first and foremost. Nothing else matters except that! And so that we are clear here if the phrase “in your spare time comes up” … the response is still NO. Get the shibarium done!”

Responding to the user’s concern, Shytoshi assured the community that the invitation won’t affect the progress of Shibarium.

Shiba Eternity Game Launches for Early Testing

Shiba Eternity, the Shiba Inu Collectible Card Game (CCG) is now available to be tested by Vietnam iOS users. ShibArmy in Indonesia would likely be the next to access the test version of the game.

On Thursday, Shytoshi Kusama, the anonymous lead developer in the Shiba Inu ecosystem revealed in a Twitter post that the Shiba Inu-powered NFT game is available in Vietnam for early testing but with limited features. 

“Vietnam! The game Shiba Eternity is now available for testing in your country on iOS. Looking for Shiba Eternity. This is an early test, more features will be released in later builds. Happy experimenting!” – Shytoshi Kusama tweeted.

As stated by the Shiba Inu lead dev, only Vietnam iOS users have access to experiment with the game at the moment. This new development comes a few weeks after Shytoshi promised to surprise members of the ShibArmy, residing in Vietnam.

He further hinted that Shiba Inu community members in other regions like Indonesia will soon be given access to test the Shiba Eternity game.

Significant progress has been made in the development of the highly-anticipated Shiba Inu ecosystem game. Last month, the Shiba Inu team finally disclosed that the game will be Shiba Eternity. Today, the game has reached a testing stage. 

It is worth noting that Team Shiba Inu together with PlaySide Studios, the Australia-based game developer, have all hands on deck to make Shiba Eternity completely ready for playing in 2022. The Shiba Collectible Card game (CCG) will be available for both Android and iOS users.

Over 170 million Shiba Inu (SHIB) have been sent to dead wallets in the past 24 hours while 1,882,892 SHIB have been burned in the last 3 hours. Following this large volume of SHIB being sent to inferno wallets, the SHIB burn rate has spiked over 260% today. 

As revealed by Shibburn, the platform that tracks and records Shiba Inu burn activities, 170,719,991 SHIB tokens have been destroyed in the past 24 hours in just 14 transactions, at the time of writing. 

Earlier today, the Shibburn Twitter account wrote, “in the past 24 hours, there have been a total of 174,089,136 SHIB tokens burned and 15 transactions.”

In a single transaction, a certain wallet took away a whopping 139,854,341 Shib tokens out of circulation forever. The second largest burn involved the incineration of 11,228,496 SHIB tokens by another wallet.

SHIB Burn Rate Spikes

These consistent massive SHIB burns further show that the community is bent on reducing the circulating supply of Shiba Inu. It is believed that this could help in causing the price of the meme token to surge significantly.

Ever since the introduction of the burn initiative, billions of Shib tokens have been burnt. In July alone, the Shiba Inu community destroyed a total of 4.7 billion SHIB tokens. 

It is worth noting that over 410.4 trillion SHIB tokens have been taken out of the meme token’s supply by community members through different burn activities. Currently, the token’s circulating supply is 558.2 trillion, according to Shibburn data.

Shiba Inu and Switchere Exchange: How It Started

In late May 2022, MilkShakes notified the Shiba Army in a tweet, of a planned discussion session with the Switchere crypto exchange, with the bone of contention being the SHIB token ecosystem.

This intended dialogue was birthed after the Estonian crypto exchange sealed a collaboration with NOWPayments.io to provide yet another use case for Shiba Inu (SHIB) token.

Meanwhile, “MilkShakes” is a Twitter account that aggressively promotes Shiba Inu and stays bent on updating SHIB holders with the latest news and developments surrounding the meme coin. MILKSHAKES is also said to be the official Shiba Inu community growth member.

Subsequently, MilkShakes updated the Shiba Inu (SHIB) army in early June 2022 of a successful ‘communication’ with Switchere, stating that the crypto exchange hopes to support the  Shiba Inu project. Of course, this update was received with excitement by one of the strong communities in the space.

How it is Going

On this day, Switchere exchange and MilkShares have been seen conversing on Twitter in a not-so-explicit manner, with the use of  ‘winks’ emojis. However, their reactions are being assumed and interpreted by the community to be a signal for a concluded dialogue between both parties.  

Is SHIB moving to reach the 1500 Islands? At the moment, nothing seems to be very certain. Nonetheless, there is a handful of indications to confirm that the Switchere crypto exchange is likely to list the Shiba Inu (SHIB) token or roll out some kind of burning feature for the memecoin.

Therefore, it is safe to say that a potential partnership and/or collaboration between these two parties might just be around the corner.

The prominent Shiba Inu community member further stated that the reason for the meeting wasn’t to hype Shiba Inu and its ecosystem, it was meant to gain a common understanding that could benefit the Shiba Army and the crypto industry.

SHIB Informer pointed out that the former minister of economy in Turkey was able to help in defining the policy around crypto in the country during the meeting:
