The transactions on the two diverse chains amounted to an estimated worth of $200,370,000 ($200.37M).

Baby Doge Coin Transaction Details On Ethereum

On the Ethereum blockchain, the BabyDoge team succeeded in setting a world record by burning 100,000,000,000,000,000 (100 quadrillions) BABYDOGE tokens in a single transaction. These tokens are worth relatively $200,000,000.

Overall, the total amount of burned BABYDOGE tokens on the Ethereum chain is presently 327,321,221,121,808,704 (327.32 quadrillions), worth $647,114,054 ($647.11M).

Baby Doge Coin Transaction Details On The Binance Chain

On the BNB chain, the BabyDoge team successfully burned 185,000,000,000,000 (185 trillion) BABYDOGE, worth $370,000. The new set of burned BABYDOGE tokens brings the total number of the upcoming meme tokens burned on the BNB platform to 206,018,901,659,242,466 (206 quadrillions), with an estimated worth of $412,037,803 ($412.03M).

Per CoinGecko, Baby Doge Coin is ranked 121 and sells at a rate of $0.000000001914. The coin is down by 0.6% with a 24-hour trading volume of $1,793,842. ]]> To protect the meme token network and its overall ecosystem, the BabyDogeCoin team is on the verge of burning a massive amount of dormant BabgDoge on the Ethereum chain. 

According to the team, this planned monumental token burn will ensure the long-term stability and safety of the Babydoge project as well as lower the cost of transacting the popular meme token on the Ethereum network to zero. 

A proposal to burn a whopping 100 quadrillion Babydoge tokens on the Ethereum network — worth over $200 million at the time of writing — has been rolled out by the project development team. The recently submitted proposal also promises to reduce Babydoge transaction fee on the Ethereum network to 0% while also making provision for seamless token bridging.  

“We’ve been listening to your concerns and have come up with an innovative solution to further enhance the security and integrity of our project,” the BabyDogeCoin team wrote. Notably, the 100 quadrillion BabyDoge in question has been dormant since the token launch on Ethereum.

According to the proposal, burning them will reduce every potential exploitation risk and also ensure the long-term stability and safety of the BabyDogeCoin ecosystem. “This means our community members can enjoy more efficient, and cost-effective transactions within the ecosystem,” part of the proposal added. 

Voting on this proposal will end on May 16 while the burn is scheduled to happen on June 1 if the majority of the community shows support. However, the team noted that another official proposal will be drafted for the project Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) to consider before enacting the burn.

“If we see overwhelming support from our incredible community, we will draft an official proposal for the DAO to consider,” the team said. 

It bears mentioning that the expected burn event would most likely not affect Babydoge’s price performance as  100 quadrillion tokens are not part of the circulating supply of BabyDogeCoin. Recall that over 52 trillion Babydoge was taken out of circulation in late January.

]]> In a bid to reduce the hyperinflated total supply of the decentralized meme token Baby Doge Coin, community members, and other contributors continue to send huge volumes of the token to the official BabyDoge burn wallet. Notably, these burns have been conducted while the dedicated BABYDOGE burn portal is yet to be launched.

In the last 24 hours, BabyDoge community members successfully took out 52,801,653,274,284 (~52.8 trillion) Babydogecoin out of its total supply. But in the past 7 and 30 days, an estimated 144.7 trillion and 743.7 trillion tokens have been incinerated at the time of writing. 

With these heavy burns recorded every day, the total BabyDoge coin burned equals 201,395,250,330,257,696 (approximately 201.3 quadrillion tokens) at the time of writing. That is, the community has successfully reduced the token’s total supply by 47.951% at the time of writing. The total supply of Babydoge is 420 quadrillion. 

Per an update from the token burn tracker, out of these overall burned tokens 33.7 trillion BabyDoge tokens worth about $50,134 were burned last Monday. In addition, approximately 731.8 trillion BABYDOGE coins have been destroyed in the past hour. 

It bears mentioning that all these tokens were flushed out by community members and other contributors even though the  Babydoge community has no burn portal. To further increase the token burn rate, the project developers began the development of a dedicated burn portal for BABYDOGE.

Per an announcement shared earlier this month, the team announced that the BabyDoge burn portal is in development and should be complete soon. It is expected that the launch and design of this burn portal would encourage more users to burn BabyDoge coins and in turn, contribute to the price growth of the asset.

Massive BabyDoge Burn in 24 Hours

In the quest to drastically reduce and make scarce the Baby DogeCoin which was birthed by fans of the doge meme community, a huge amount of BabyDoge has been flushed out of circulation in the last 24 hours. 

According to data retrieved by Timestabloid from the BabyDogeBurn Twitter handle and Crypteye, a popular burn and whale tracking platform, BabyDoge tokens amounting to 25,119,024,763,405 have been destroyed in the past 24 hours, at the time of writing. 

While these burns took place in several transactions, some hefty burn volumes per hour were reported by BabyDogeBurn on Twitter. In one of the updates where the largest burn volume per hour was recorded, approximately 14.96 trillion BabyDoge tokens were channeled to a dead wallet within one hour. At that time, the tokens were worth $19,585. 

The second-largest burn volume in a one-hour interval showed that approximately 4.89 trillion Babydoge worth around $6,633 were burned.

In another update, 1.37 trillion units of the Baby Doge Coin worth approximately $1,808 were taken out of circulation within one hour. 

The burn tracker also showed that about 471 billion BabyDoge tokens worth $658 were sent to a dead wallet within one hour. Notably, in the last hour, more than 1.05 trillion Babydoge were burned worth about $1,269.

Accordingly, these and many more voluminous burns have resulted in the reduction of the hyperinflated BabyDoge total supply. Also, the number of wallets holding a portion of the meme token is on a steady rise.

At the time of writing, approximately 199.3 quadrillion Baby Doge Coins which equals 47.45% of its total supply (420 quadrillion) have been taken out of circulation, as revealed by Crypteye.

BabyDoge has a total supply of 420 quadrillion tokens on the Ethereum blockchain (ERC-20).

It should be noted that this has been reduced to 193 quadrillion after today’s notable burn. The burn details is verifiable on the Ethereum chain block explorer Etherscan via the transaction link captioned in the announcement.

According to CoinMarketCap, the price of Baby DogeCoin has surged over 6% in the past 24 hours. The current Baby DogCoin price is $0.000000001708 with a market cap of $271,309,250.

Baby Doge Coin is a meme token made to be deflationary and scarcer over time. The tokenomics of BabyDoge is designed in such a way that in every trade, some portion of baby doge coins is sent to the burn wallet automatically.

Upcoming 50 Quadrillion Tokens Burn on ETH

The idea behind the possible burning of 50 quadrillion BabyDoge Coins is to further reduce the total supply of the memecoin. To note, when tokens are burned, they are removed from circulation forever.

In marking the project’s birthday, on June 1, the BabyDoge team rolled out a burn proposal for the community to approve or vote down. The voting, which employed a single-choice voting concept, was open for 27 days only.

The voting window for this proposal was closed as of June 28 at 4:00 UTC. However, the outcome of the voting is yet to be officially announced at the time of writing.

On the voting dashboard, it reads that;

“Results could not be calculated. This is often due to a misconfigured strategy or an unresponsive RPC node involved in the strategy.”

Nonetheless, other sources say that the voting outcome is in support of the team burning 50 quadrillion BabyDoge coins on the Ethereum network in one go, on June 29.

Increasing BabyDoge Burns

The burn rate of the low cap and large volume memecoin continues to rise as more and more burn activities surface. 

Earlier today, the BurnBabyDoge Twitter handle disclosed that 10.4 trillion BabyDoge tokens have been burned in the last 24 hours. Likewise, the team previously burned 3.2 quadrillion tokens worth over $10 million.

With these massive burns taking place, the price of BabyDoge token saw a 14% price increase today as revealed by Coinmarketcap. So far, 196.1 quadrillion Baby Doge Coin tokens,  amounting to 46.70% of the memecoin’s initial supply of 420 quadrillion have been destroyed.

The new development was shared via the official Twitter handle of BabyDoge a couple of hours ago.

@BabyDogecoin tweeted, “3.2 quadrillion BURNED worth over $10 MILLION USDT.”

According to BSC Scan, the total amount burned was worth $10,880,000 at the time of the transaction.

13.8 Quadrillion BabyDoge Tokens Burned in the Past Three Months

In January 2022, about five quadrillion BabyDoge tokens worth around $11.5 million were sent to dead wallets, where they will be permanently inaccessible. While in February, 4.8 quadrillions of the meme token were destroyed.

Also in March, a total of 4 quadrillion BabyDoge were destroyed. The recent burn exercise now brings the total tokens burned so far to 17 quadrillion BabyDoge worth relatively $56 million.

]]> Baby Dogecoin (BabyDoge), the canine-themed meme token built on Binance Smart Chain (BSC), has announced another whopping burn, which has drastically reduced the circulating supply of the token.

Since the beginning of the year, Baby DogeCoin (BabyDoge), has been burning tokens in quadrillions on a monthly basis.

The latest burn exercise removed 4 quadrillions of the meme token permanently from its current circulating supply.

The recent development was shared via the official Twitter handle of BabyDoge.

According to the BabyDoge team, BSC scan revealed that the total amount of tokens burned was worth an estimated $13.6 million at the time of the transaction.

9.8 Quadrillion BabyDoge Tokens Burned in the Past two Months

In January 2022, about five quadrillion BabyDoge tokens worth around $11.5 million were sent to dead wallets, where they will be permanently inaccessible. While in February, 4.8 quadrillions of the meme token were destroyed.

This recent burn exercise now brings the total tokens burned so far to 13.8 quadrillion BabyDoge worth around $45.1 million.

In terms of the number of holders, BabyDoge is currently leading with over 1.4 million unique wallet addresses. While its competitors Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Dogecoin (DOGE) stand a little above 1.1 million and 563,000 unique addresses, respectively.

Moreover, Baby Dogecoin (BabyDoge) is the third-largest canine-themed meme token, standing behind the two largest meme tokens, Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB).
