This was made known in a discord discussion by Shytoshi Kusama, the anonymous lead developer in the Shiba Inu (SHIB) ecosystem. He mentioned that the guidebook will be available before October 14. 

The Shiba Eternity game went live and was made available for global download on October 6. In just a few days of being introduced into the game market, the Shiba Inu-powered game has been downloaded by a good number of game lovers. More so, the card game has received high ratings (over 4.7) on both the Android play store and the iOS App Store.

While the game is unique and interesting to play, it is still a hard nut to crack for some users. Hence, the team moved to prepare a comprehensive guide to aid newbies and gaming experts understand how to play the Shiba Collective Card Game (CCG). 

Shytoshi Kusama, who had earlier disclosed that he is working on a guide material for the Shiba Eternity game, wrote on Discord in a Monday update:

“For those of you who found the game a bit confusing, don’t worry the “players guide” is complete and getting polished before release. It will be searchable and (if the app works with such a huge file) a flipbook. Expect that in 48-72 hours.”

“The Guide will have all the information about how to play and also the Mythos explaining all the cards, memes, and esoteric secrets. I’ve also tucked in a fair amount of Easter eggs.”

Shytoshi Kusama, a Shiba Inu lead developer, who reacted to the announcement said he’s currently working on releasing a players guide for users.

“Download Day is here! While the community focuses on downloading and getting a first glimpse at #ShibaEternity on #iOS & #android, I’ll be locked in finishing up a complete players guide for your new favorite collectible card game,” Shytoshi Kusama stated.

Shiba Eternity Will Burn SHIB Tokens

In an update in mid-September, Shytoshi Kusama assured the Shiba Inu community that the newly launched game will also take part in the SHIB burn initiative that has been going on since 2021.

In the update, Kusama said, “SHIBARMY… there will be burns from the game period. Upcoming details will explain why ShibaEternity is powerful, challenging, great for Shib, Shiboshi holders…”

The news comes almost 24 hours after SHIB Queenie revealed some comments made by Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer in the Shiba Inu (SHIB) ecosystem. Shytoshi Kusama said, 

“In the next update, I’ll give the exact date for Download day. Give more finalized details on rewards from the game and give more information on the lore we all want to know. At the moment, the game is in its testing stage as the team aims to ensure that the game is bug-free before the official launch. The Shiba Eternity game was first made available for Vietnam iOS users to download, test game functionalities, and then send feedback to the game developers. On September 17, the team launched the game’s test version in Australia for ShibArmy residents in the region to test. 

At the moment, the test version is only available in the Apple App Store for downloads. But from October, the team noted that the game will be available on Google Play Store for everyone.

Shiba Eternity to Be Tested in Australia

Additionally, Shytoshi Kusama has said that Australia will probably be the last testing ground for the SHIB CCG game, Shiba Eternity. Kusama revealed this in response to a question posed by a popular SHIB community member — @shibalexander. On September 17, 2022, the Shiba Eternity game was released in Australia and then made available on the Apple App Store.

Users from Australia get the same opportunity as Vietnamese users to test and report bugs for the Shiba Eternity game early on. According to test reports, the SHIB CCG game was a big hit in Vietnam. According to several sources, demand surpassed expectations, and the Shiba team had to increase the gameplay servers’ capacity by 50 to meet the demand.

Users asked for a SHIB CCG debut test in their country, and Kusama replied that “download day” will probably be the next event. A user from Turkey who submitted a request wrote, “The Turkish community is expecting the Shiba Eternity. When will we be able to download the game from the app store?”

In response, Kusama said, “soon”. He then clarified that everyone in the world, not only residents of particular countries, would be able to download the game. He claims that the Shiba team wants to prove to the “shadowcats” just how powerful Shiba is.

In a blog post written by Shiba Inu lead developers, the team behind ‘SHIB: The Metaverse’ project noted that greater attention has been channeled towards setting a core structure for the project.

“We have been hard at work setting up a core structure for SHIB The Metaverse. This core structure is a combination of best practices and members that will work in order to achieve truly an immersive experience worthy of the Shiba Inu community,” the post revealed.

Members and entities that currently make up the core structure of SHIB: The Metaverse project include The Third Floor (TTF) which is an AAA Studio, a team of expert Metaverse Advisors

Marcie Jastrow, Sherri Cuono, David Kern, and lead developers such as Shytoshi Kusama, Kaal Dhairya, and Penny. 

The Third Floor (TTF) is said to be a world-class visualization studio that uses the virtual world to imagine and tell stories in films, televisions, games, Virtual Realities (VR), and themed attractions. 

To distinctively design and release the much-anticipated metaverse project, the Shiba Inu community scored a strategic partnership with The Third Floor (TTF).

Community Inclusion 

Beyond strengthening the team behind the metaverse project, it was also noted in the blog post that “community feedback for SHIB The Metaverse is imperative.” 

To involve the ShibArmy in the building and production of a unique Shib: The Metaverse experience, two additional teams of dedicated members like MILKSHAKE have been created.

The first team is dubbed “Shib: Creative, Innovation, Community Feedback/Broadcast Aid”, while the other team is named “Shib: Intake, Marketing, Sponsorships/Partnerships Aid.”

Their specific role is to aid in being the eyes, ears, and voice of the community to relay questions, concerns, and views to the expert advisors, developers, and ultimately the AAA Studio of the Metaverse project.

When Launch? 

SHIB: The Metaverse is a top priority project in the Shiba Inu community this 2022. It is a unique project that aims to introduce a virtual experience for the Shiba Inu community to interact and explore, while also virtually displaying the community’s history. 

According to the available updates, this project is expected to be launched before the end of the year and the team has been ramping up efforts in this regard. 

Shiba Collectible Card Game (CCG) named Shiba Eternity is also on the verge of being released for the entire ShibArmy to access. Currently, the game is in its final testing stage. However, only users in the Vietnam region can access the test version of the game at the moment.

ByBit Continues to Support Shiba Inu (SHIB)

The Singapore-based crypto exchange first supported Shiba Inu (SHIB) trading in December 2021, when it introduced the SHIB/USDT spot trading pair. Shiba Inu’s listing on ByBit happened after the meme token got supported on the largest US-based crypto exchange.

On September 17, 2021, Coinbase listed Shiba Inu (SHIB) on its trading platform. This was a major boost for the token as it gained massive interest from investors. In consequence, Shiba Inu’s price rose by over 40% in the following 48 hours. 

Due to the recent market downturn, Shiba Inu (SHIB) has been heading south in the crypto market, declining by over 8% in the last 7 days. At the time of writing, Shiba Inu is trading for $0.00001209 per token, according to data from Coinmarketcap.

When SHIB Rally?

Although the meme token is trading far below its all-time high of $0.000086, some crypto investors believe that Shiba Inu could repeat the rally it displaced in late 2021, owing to many positive developments surrounding the project. 

The community behind Shiba Inu (SHIB) has been very active in terms of building and developing the token ecosystem. More so, to reduce the supply of Shiba Inu, millions of SHIB tokens are being burned daily ever since the introduction of the burn initiative.

While Shytoshi Kusama didn’t specify the game launch date, William Volk said during the Gamescom event that Shiba Eternity could be fully ready for the wider crypto audience in September, after satisfactory testings.

“It will come out probably in September for other regions, and we’ll have a download day where we intend to get the ShibArmy to all download it,” he said.

To develop Shiba Eternity, Team Shiba Inu partnered with PlaySide Studios, a reputable video game company. Also, the team added other professionals to their game team to build a sustainable product. 

William David Volk, a veteran video game designer and developer was hired to lead the design and implementation of the Shiba Eternity game, which is being developed in collaboration with PlaySide Studios.

Shiba Eternity Enters Testing Phase

It is worth noting that Shiba Eternity has entered the testing stage, indicating the progress of the team behind the project.
