]]> A new blog post titled Shibarium got recently released by the pseudonymous lead developer of Shiba Inu (SHIB), Shytoshi Kusama. The released article describes Shiba Inu’s plans for actualizing Royshi’s vision. Notably, Royshi serves as the cover name for Shiba Inu’s founder.

Plans Aimed At Completing Royshi’s Vision

Per the blog post that seemed to be making headlines in the community, completing Royshi’s vision would entail paying more attention to saving the world using Shiba Inu (SHIB).

Also, the need for Shiba Inu’s complete decentralization and a self-governing structure would be crucial in propelling SHIB’s token ascent.

In addition, Kusama noted that the lead team is in the final phase of attaining full revival of the SHIB ecosystem, having previously completed the structural design stage. Kusama remarked that the implementation level is the last stage and requires the adoption of different structures.

Shiba Inu Self-Governing Structure: What This Entails

Shedding light on the need for an autonomous governing system in the SHIB’s metaverse, Kusama made mention of possible Decentralized Autonomous organizations (DAO) and a Foundation.

According to Kusama, the DAOs will take charge of decisions affecting Shiba Inu. On the other hand, the foundation will bear the brunt of implementing these decisions.

With these patterns of decision-making and implementation, the lead team seems convinced about the prospect of equal rights existing among Shiba Inu community members via DAO.

]]> NOWNodes, a blockchain-as-a-service (BaaS) solution, has added support for the Shiba Inu burn portal reward token, RYOSHI on its platform. NOWNodes earlier disclosed that it will list BONE, another token in Shiba Inu’s ecosystem.

According to an update on Twitter, RYOSHI, a token designed to reward Shiba Inu holders who burn their tokens via the SHIB burn portal, has been listed on the  NOWNodes platform.

Developers will now have access to the full Ethereum node and free API tools to build on the Ryoshis Vision network.

Note: An Ethereum node is a tool that allows developers to browse the blockchain.

The listing announcement read, “Awesome news for the Ryoshi Army. As we promised, Ryoshis Vision is finally listed on NOWNodes. We congratulate Ryoshis vision on its one year anniversary and wish RYOSHI just a growth. Build on RYOSHI via our ETH nodes w/ a free API key.”

It is worth noting that NOWNodes is a blockchain solution that provides quick and simple access to over 40 most popular blockchain nodes and block explorers. So far, the platform maintains over 45 full nodes, and developers can access all of them via one single API key.

BONE is the governance token of the Shibaswap decentralized marketplace used for voting on ecosystem proposals. While the Shiba Inu community awaits the landing of Shibarium, a layer 2 protocol, it is said that BONE will serve as the gas.

]]> Following the announcement of the start of Shiba Inu Burn Reward distribution by Ryoshis Vision, the rate at which SHIB tokens are being burned has surged significantly.

According to Shibburn, within 24 hours on 18th May 2022, the SHIB burn rate spikes by over 5000%, recording its biggest single transaction burn of 10 billion SHIB tokens in the process.

Within the aforementioned period, the Shiba Inu community managed to burn about 12.8 billion SHIB tokens.

According to Ryoshis Vision in the tweet, the first distribution of ShibaBurn Rewards is out now. The rewards for those who burned SHIB via the burn portal and are holding $burntSHIB are now available.

The team behind the dog-themed crypto project launched the SHIB burn portal on the 23rd of April 2022. From the day the burn portal was launched to when rewards distribution started, ShibArmy managed to burn a total of 29.5 billion SHIB. The figure rapidly spiked after the rewards distribution announcement. The figure now stands at 42.4 billion tokens at the time of press.

According to data provided by Etherscan, the SHIB burning address that destroyed 1.3 billion tokens received 119 billion RYOSHI worth relatively $6,500. For holders who burn their SHIB tokens to claim their rewards, they must “WOOF” them. This will lock them in for a period of time. This measure is put in place to likely prevent holders from selling their RYOSHI immediately.

Since the launch of Shiba Inu, a total of 410.35 trillion SHIB tokens have been destroyed. At launch, SHIB had a total supply of one quadrillion tokens, but over 50% of them were locked in a smart contract to provide liquidity on decentralized exchange Uniswap, while the rest were gifted to Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum blockchain.

After receiving the whopping gift from the Shiba Inu team, Buterin sent 90% of the SHIB tokens to a dead wallet, where it will remain permanently inaccessible. This unusual action removed over 410 trillion SHIB from the gargantuan circulating supply, which likely led to the massive spike in the price of SHIB afterward.

10.9 billion SHIB Burned in Two Days

In order to encourage Shiba Inu holders to adopt and participate, the team includes rewards. This implies that community members that join the burn program will be rewarded in form of passive income.

Going by the announcement, a total of 0.49% of all Ryoshi Vision (RYOSHI) transactions will be distributed to participants of the burn program.

Although the number of SHIB burned so far via the initiative may not be as much as expected, Queenie, a member of the Shiba Inu development team, had disclosed that about 111 trillion SHIB burns are achievable yearly.
