XRP has spent weeks compressing into a tightening technical structure on the 4-hour chart. The pattern is now reaching its endpoint.
Crypto Michael (@MichaelXBT), a widely followed crypto analyst, posted a chart on October 29 with a clear message: “XRP triangle will break within 1 week.”
The Structure Taking Shape
The chart covers mid-August through early November. The trendlines that define the pattern are a descending upper trendline connecting a high near $1.65 from the surge in late September to the current price level.
Each bounce has produced a lower high. Below, a flat horizontal support level has held consistently near $1.25-$1.26, tested multiple times without breaking. Together, these two lines form a descending triangle. XRP is now wedged at the apex where the two lines converge.

Where XRP Sits Right Now
XRP was trading at $1.2880 at the time of the post, just cents above the horizontal support floor. The descending trendline sits directly overhead near $1.29-$1.30. The space between support and resistance has narrowed to its tightest point across the entire pattern.
This compression typically precedes a decisive move. At the apex, volume drops significantly and the price range shrinks. A catalyst or sustained buying or selling pressure forces resolution.
Crypto Michael’s one-week call puts the resolution no later than early November. The apex of the triangle on the chart aligns with that window. The asset’s price cannot remain compressed indefinitely within these converging lines, and the geometry of the pattern confirms the timeline is realistic.
What Comes Next?
Crypto Michael added “I hope you’re ready,” signaling confidence that the move is close. His chart does not specify a directional target, but the structure presents two clear scenarios.
A breakout above the descending trendline would need XRP to clear $1.30 and hold it. The next meaningful resistance above sits near $1.48-$1.50, a level that served as support during the earlier consolidation phase in late September. Beyond that, are $1.65 and $1.68, the asset’s peak after the breakout in. August.
A breakdown below $1.25 support would open a cleaner path lower. That horizontal level has absorbed selling pressure repeatedly, so a confirmed close beneath it carries technical significance. Traders are watching $1.30 to the upside and $1.25 to the downside as the levels that define what comes next.
