Here’s How XRP Price Performed After Every Ripple Swell

With Ripple Swell dominating the headlines, crypto analyst EGRAG CRYPTO (@egragcrypto) has released a historical breakdown of XRP’s price performance in the seven days following each Ripple Swell conference. The data covers nine consecutive years, and the results lean bearish.

Nine Years Under the Microscope

EGRAG CRYPTO examined XRP’s closing price at the end of each Swell event and tracked it seven days later. Six of the nine years produced negative returns. Three produced gains. That gives the post-Swell period a 66.7% historical bearish frequency.

The average 7-day return across all nine years sits at -3.07%. The worst year on record was 2023, when XRP dropped -8.21%, falling from $0.6666 to $0.6119. The best year was 2022, when XRP gained +5.28%, rising from $0.3817 to $0.4019.

Year-by-Year Price Action

The full record shows a clear pattern of bearish pressure following the event. In 2017, XRP fell from $0.2169 to $0.2016, a decline of -7.09%. The following year, it dropped from $0.5169 to $0.4800, losing -7.13%. In 2019, it slipped -5.49%. Then in 2020, it posted a +4.56% gain, one of only three positive years in the dataset.

In 2021, it fell -7.56%. After the 2022 gain, 2023 delivered the sharpest decline. In 2024, XRP fell -4.09%, from $0.5482 to $0.5258. However, the historic rally 500% rally from late 2024 came shortly after this decline. The most recent entry, 2025, showed a modest +2.14% gain.

Price Projections for 2026

EGRAG CRYPTO applied the historical data to XRP’s current price of $1.29 to generate two projections. If XRP follows the average post-Swell decline of -3.07%, the price lands at $1.25. If XRP matches the worst historical decline of -8.21%, the price falls to $1.18.

The analyst identified $1.25 as the key support level to watch. “If it breaks, the bearish scenario gains strength,” EGRAG CRYPTO noted. A hold at that level, followed by a reclaim of resistance, would shift the technical picture.

November 5 is the Target Date

Swell 2026 runs October 27 through 29 in New York City. The analyst set November 5 as the date to monitor for post-event price resolution. EGRAG CRYPTO urged caution, writing, “Historical statistics are NOT guarantees, and nine events are a small sample.” The data offers a reference, not a verdict.
