Per an update by Team Shiba Inu, more experts have been added to the team focusing on the designing of the highly anticipated SHIB: The Metaverse project.

In a recent development, Brandie Konopasek, a former staff in top entertainment companies like Netflix, Disney, and Marvel Studios, has been signed to the SHIB: The Metaverse squad. As revealed in the announcement, Brandie Konopasek has a good track record in spanning production, post, technology, and color science. In recent times, she is moving her focus toward the game industry. 

The Shiba Inu team seeks to benefit from her wealth of experience and mastery. Part of the announcement said; “we proudly welcome Brandie Konopasek to the team. Brandie has become well-known in the entertainment industry with over 15 years of experience spanning production, post, technology, and color science. Brandie has managed to create a global network and has ushered more than 100 projects through to completion, including several of the highest-grossing films of all time.”

In response, Brandie Konopasek showed her excitement about joining the teeming Shiba Army and eagerness to contribute to the success of SHIB: The Metaverse. In her words,

SHIB: The Metaverse Making Progress

SHIB: The Metaverse project aims to introduce a virtual experience for the Shiba Inu community to interact and explore, while also virtually displaying the community’s history. According to the team, the project is expected to be introduced before the end of 2022 and the team has been working toward achieving this. 

To strengthen the team behind the project, Team Shiba Inu has been focusing on employing more competent hands for the job. In early July, David Kern, an expert in areas including video production, 3D modeling, and animation among others, joined SHIB: The Metaverse team as an advisor.

As indicated on the newly launched platform, SHIB.io, users are given 45 days to lock their assets as the community prepares for SHIB: The Metaverse and its early access land sales.

The team urges users to always verify website links and official resources in order to stay protected against possible phishing attacks through replica domains.

According to the Shiba Inu team, “Shib: The Metaverse is the culmination of the community’s history, virtually displayed in a layer of beautiful visuals that showcase its innovation and unity with a place to truly call home.”

“The Shiba Ecosystem will thrive inside the SHIB Metaverse project, meaning all tokens SHIB, LEASH, BONE, and SHIBOSHIS will play an important role as phases roll out. The development of this project will also gravitate great partnershibs, and foundational resources for the community.”

The team added that its mission is to introduce unique, fun, and exciting ways for users to earn passive income, gather in game-resources, and generate rewards. It will also allow community members to have a personal space in which they will be able to build and manage personal projects.

BID Event to Last for Three Days (72 Hours)

The BID event, which is scheduled to last for three days, is designed to provide an early access opportunity to the newly unveiled SHIB: The Metaverse.

For these days, participants will be able to bid for the plots of land of their choice. The team says, “This is a unique, and exclusive chance to reserve the very first batch of lands with priority over the rest of the users.”

The team added that “SHIB Metaverse has some incredible high-profile areas that you don’t want to miss! We encourage you to lock your $LEASH, or your Shiboshis as soon as the event starts and in order to join the interactive map!

“As a reminder all land purchases are accomplished with ETH, and you will not be able to participate on this event unless you have locked $LEASH or your Shiboshis.”

Holders Event Will Last For 7 DAYS

According to the Shiba Inu team, the Holders event is meant for $LEASH and SHIBOSHIS holders who missed the land minting during the bidding event.

The team writes, “During this stage, $LEASH and SHIBOSHI holders will be able to purchase lands, without a bidding mechanic and at the fixed price for each Tier of lands. The event will last 7 days, and will become available right after the initial bidding event comes to an end.”

Public Sale Is For Everyone

After both the BID and HOLDER events, the first phase for lands will follow, which is known as Public Sale. According to the team, this is the last chance for users to get on board by securing their plots of land.

During this stage, participants “will be able to purchase the remaining lands without any restrictions, locking time, or any determined factor. You do not need to use the LEASH or SHIBOSHI Locker, and will not need to hold any of the Shiba ecosystem tokens to be able to acquire a land plot.”

The AMA was live on Twitter and attended by a number of Shiba Inu diehard community members, such as Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama, prominent game developer William Volk, among others.

In the course of the AMA, the Shiba Inu team disclosed that a burn portal where SHIB circulating supply will be drastically reduced is underway. The burn is expected to be featured in the upcoming ShibaSwap 2.0.

The SHIB team noted:

Updates on Shiba Metaverse Land Sale and Shiba Inu Game

The SHIB team also revealed their plan to launch 99,000 plots of Shiba metaverse, Shiberse, land. It’s said to be featuring several real estate properties.

According to the team, phase 1 will launch a total of 35,000 pieces of land for LEASH holders, while the rest will be released for everyone subsequently. The cost of the metaverse landed properties will be determined by how close they are to the dog park. The maximum a wallet can buy is 100 plots with a 10 by 10 land.

It’s worth noting that Shiboshis will get 2000 lands that will be reserved exclusively for Shiba Inu non-fungible token (NFT) holders.

In relation to Shiba Inu game, the prominent game developer William Volk, during the AMA, stated that the upcoming Shiba Inu game will be different from the usual card games.

William Volk noted:

”I want to make it clear this is not just a clone of an existing game. Collectible card games are really kind of unique. Something that is very interesting about it is that it has a very sustainable economy. It includes both the mobile and blockchain game,” Volk added.
