The realized price metric measures the value of all BTC at the price they were bought divided by the number of tokens in circulation. During bull markets, the price of Bitcoin tends to remain above all of its realized prices.

PlanB also said he is bullish on Bitcoin’s Relative Strength Index (RSI), which is a momentum indicator that measures the speed and magnitude of price changes. The RSI is currently in the oversold territory, which is a sign that Bitcoin is due for a rebound.

“The RSI is setting the stage for a big rally similar to 2015,” PlanB tweeted.

At the time of press, BTC is trading at $29,481, with little or no change in price in the last 24 hours. If PlanB’s predictions are correct, Bitcoin could be on track to reach new all-time highs in the coming months or years.

Following the recent collapse of the crypto-friendly Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) and Silvergate, some politicians have resorted to blaming crypto while some have called for an outright crypto ban.

Per a tweet, Johan Van Overtveldt, a member of the European Parliament and former Belgian finance minister, said cryptocurrencies should be prohibited, comparing the financial evolution to drugs. 

“Another lesson to be learned from the current banking commotion. Enforce a strict ban on cryptocurrencies. Speculative poison and no economic or social added value. If a government bans drugs, it should also ban cryptos.”

In response, Hoskinson sounded that the prevailing banking crisis is fueled by the central banks and politicians. He urged crypto investors to ignore the FUD and vote wisely when the time comes. 

“The central banks and politicians created this banking crisis, and now they are blaming crypto. Don’t fall for it, and keep a list to remember at the ballot box when election time comes,” he tweeted, telling his followers to “be a single issue crypto voter.”

PlanB, a pseudonymous crypto strategist, supported Hoskinson stressing that crypto is math and math cannot be banned. The Twitter handle responded to Johan Van Overtveldt’s comments by saying:

“Ban math.. why and how? I think the lesson we can learn from the current banking commotion (and the previous one in 2008) is that the (central) banks don’t really know what they’re doing with QE (quantitative easing), and have absolutely no idea what Bitcoin is.”

However, the crypto market continues to print many green candles amid the United States banking crises that have spread to the European market. 

Notably, a top European-based company Credit Suisse was compelled to borrow a whopping $53 billion from the Swiss National Bank lately after its shares recently hit a record low.

The analyst is popularly known for his stock-to-flow Bitcoin model that predicts the change in value of an asset by comparing its current price to the rate at which its supply is generated.

According to PlanB, the model failed last year. However, it remains intact and currently indicating a Bitcoin price explosion to $1 million by the end of 2025.

The analyst also stated that the flagship crypto is now ready to beat $32,000 resistance level, leading up to 2024 BTC halving event when supply will be decreased by 50%. He further predicted that Bitcoin will surpass $100,000 in 2025.

PlanB is also coming out against a group of analysts who are calling the early-year rally a bull trap. In a new strategy session video, he tells his 23,600 Youtube subscribers that the bull market has begun.

“We’re currently in the next bull run. The next bull run has started. This is not a bull trap, but a bull market.”

At the time of filing this report, BTC is trading at $20,500, with a relatively 8% price uptrend in the last 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap.

PlanB also added that the upcoming bull market will have a wide range, and it could see the largest crypto asset skyrocket to $1 million, an increase of about 4,689% from current prices.

In a recent tweet, PlanB tapped to both the S2F and the logarithmic regression models to suggest that the flagship digital currency has the potential to rise up to a six-digit price level by the end of 2023.

The popular analyst further explained that he had compared Bitcoin to other assets such as Gold and Real Estate. It should be noted that the S2F ratio of Gold and Real Estate are 60 and 100 respectively, with the latter having a market capitalization 10x larger than that of Gold.

In that regard, PlanB concluded that it would really be surprising if Bitcoin (BTC) will have a lower market cap than gold after the next halving when the BTC S2F ratio rises above 100.

It’s worth noting that Bitcoin halving plays out every four years. So, the next halving will take place in early 2024.

How PlanB’s Stock-to-Flow (S2F) Model Works and Its Past Failures

PlanB is the anonymous Twitter analyst behind the popular stock-to-flow (S2F) model and its variations. The model sees the stock as the size of existing reserves and the flow as the annual supply of new Bitcoin (BTC) in circulation.

Indeed, the model gained popularity among Bitcoin bulls due to its accuracy. But its popularity is starting to dwindle due to its recent failures.

S2F failures: the model predicted that the price of Bitcoin will surpass $100,000 by the end of 2021, but the reverse was the case. At the time of writing, BTC is still trading far below the $50,000 level.

Also, the analyst has another model known as the “floor model” or “worst-case scenario.” This model displayed high accuracy for a couple of months. Howbeit, its projection of Bitcoin prices of $98,000 and $135,000 failed in November and December 2021.

Despite the number of failures recorded, PlanB still remains resolute that his models are still potent, believing that a six-digit price level is inevitable for Bitcoin (BTC).

Mike McGlone Says Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) Are Primed To Surge in 2022

Mike McGlone, Bloomberg’s senior commodity strategist, thinks both Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) are primed to surge in 2022 despite the crypto market’s recent struggles.

In a new analysis, Mike McGlone says both Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) have solid bases to build on. He predicts they will remain dominant among cryptocurrencies in 2022, with Bitcoin moving toward $100,000 and Ethereum breaching $5,000.

McGlone thinks Bitcoin is in a “consolidating bull market” and predicts the US Federal Reserve’s new policies will actually be beneficial for BTC.

Federal Reserve officials have recently indicated they plan to scale back asset purchases and raise interest rates next year in an effort to fight inflation.

Mike McGlone noted,
