XRP Ascent to $1

A closely followed analyst Michaël van de Poppe attributed XRP’s price direction to the ongoing lawsuit against Ripple. His analysis pointed out a potential breakout scenario for the digital currency.

According to Michaël van de Poppe, if XRP successfully overcomes its resistance level at $0.52, it could rage toward the $1 mark. In Poppe’s words, “a flip in that resistance zone” is the safest and most profitable place for an investor to purchase XRP.

He pointed out that based on the recent price trend, LTC is set to display “a classic ascending triangle structure” and break out of its consolidation phase.

LTC currently faces a resistance at $100, and the probability of overcoming this level will be dependent on reclaiming $92.

However, the analyst highlighted that it could take several weeks for the anticipated scenario to unfold.

In the meantime, the analyst cautioned that despite the current downward trend of the prices of altcoins generally, based on the weekly candle chart, the overall market appears to be heading towards a bearish future which would last a short term.

“We are having a classic ascending triangle structure, we are also having this resistance here at $100 to $105… If we are going to break back above, which is based on the level around $92. If that level breaks and we can have an expansion.”

To deduce his prediction for Litecoin (LTC), the analyst used an equation of price equals market cap divided by circulating supply. In his claim, he presented two vital scenarios. In the first scenario, he projected a $48.28 billion market cap, which could see LTC trading at around $630. This also represents a relatively 588% increase from current prices.

In the second scenario, Ajwritescrypto suggested a $517 Litecoin (LTC) price, which requires a $39.5 billion market capitalization.

The team thereby concludes that LTC could surpass its previous all-time high in the next bull run with a price between $500 to $540, representing a 490% surge in price.

Litecoin (LTC) Lethargic Growth in Price

Ajwritescrypto mentioned that Litecoin does not seem to be considered an investment option for new crypto traders; this could be because LTC tokens so far remain one of the worst-hit crypto assets in the present bearish market rampage.

Despite a 12% decline already experienced in early May, there is a possibility that Litecoin could drop below the $70 price mark if the bearish pattern persists.

It is worth noting that the APY for SHIB flexible staking is 2.5% and Shiba Inu holders can stake as low as 1 SHIB token. Likewise, the APY for staking XRP on the OKX exchange is kept at 2.50%, with the minimum investment pegged at 0.01 XRP.

Meanwhile, the highest APY can be earned from staking the leading decentralized meme token, Dogecoin, as its associated APY is 10%. Users can stake a minimum of 0.01 DOGE to earn this high yield.

On the other hand, Filecoin staking comes with a 2% APY, with 0.01 LTC as the minimum investment. For the Litecoin staking deal, users can lock up as low as 0.01 LTC to earn a 3.5% APY.

This development comes as an upgrade to the OKX Earn Gold Rush Bonus promotion, as the exchange seeks to give holders of SHIB, DOGE, and XRP more opportunities to earn high rewards via staking.

Recall that OKX Earn, a program that enables users to earn passive income on their assets through staking, launched the debut edition of its Gold Rush Bonus promo in September. 

At the time, the Seychelles-based exchange launched a  90-day staking exercise for SHIB, XRP, DOGE, FIL, and LTC. Although the staking APY then was up to 12%, users frowned at the long deposit and withdrawal duration and called for more flexibility.
