The UK government has assembled one of the most significant financial coalitions in modern history. Backed by HM Treasury and the City of London Corporation, the Wholesale Digital Markets Champion and Taskforce now counts 54 institutions among its members.

Notably, Ripple had a seat at the table, sharing that space with BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, HSBC, Barclays, UBS, and more. Crypto commentator BankXRP (@BankXRP) shared the official taskforce member list on social media, highlighting the scale of institutional participation.

The image shows Ripple listed alongside some of the most powerful names in global finance, a coalition targeting up to £33 billion in additional UK economic output by 2035.

Ripple’s Role Goes Beyond Membership

Ripple is not simply a name on a list. The company has a defined operational role within the taskforce. Ripple is actively contributing to building secondary markets, tokenizing collateral, and supporting the issuance of the UK Digital Gilt Instrument, known as DIGIT, over the next 12 months.

The DIGIT pilot is central to the taskforce’s ambitions. Its success would make the UK the first G7 nation to issue tokenized sovereign debt. The taskforce has set a live tokenized repo trial by spring 2027 as its first milestone, with fixed income and derivatives to follow.

Ripple’s Credentials Speak for Themselves

Ripple’s acquisition of prime broker Hidden Road for $1.25 billion features in the Treasury-backed report as evidence of institutional-grade infrastructure converging with crypto-native capabilities. Santander UK’s white-label use of Ripple’s rails receives similar recognition.

Ripple’s track record with these same institutions runs deeper still. In May, it completed the first cross-border tokenized Treasury settlement on the XRP Ledger alongside Ondo Finance, Mastercard, and J.P. Morgan.

The XRP Ledger as Financial Infrastructure

Ripple has positioned the XRP Ledger as the underlying infrastructure for this new financial era. Earlier in 2026, Ripple partnered with Aviva Investors to launch tokenized traditional funds on the XRP Ledger. Through tokenized instruments on the XRPL, the company can offer a cheaper, better, and faster alternative to legacy equivalents.

The taskforce’s projected global market for tokenized real-world assets sits at $88 trillion by 2035. Ripple is one of only a handful of crypto-native firms granted full participation in the coalition driving that shift. The gap between XRP as a payments asset and XRP as institutional financial infrastructure is closing.

Crypto Crusaders founder Levi Rietveld recently posted a video breaking down a BlackRock-linked warning on the CLARITY Act and what it means for XRP’s price.

The video features clips of SEC Chair Paul Atkins and Joseph Chalom, CEO of SharpLink and former 20-year Managing Director at BlackRock, where he led Strategic Ecosystem Partnerships.

Chalom’s Comments On Asia and Global Rules

In his video, Rietveld played a clip of Chalom discussing his travels through Korea and Hong Kong. Chalom said he’s very optimistic about crypto regulation in the long term. He warned that if the CLARITY Act stalls, Asian governments could pass their own rules and get ahead of the U.S. He said the industry needs “a lot more clarity” on rules, global rates and geopolitics.

Rietveld connected this to a broader competitive point. He argued that Japan, South Korea, and parts of Europe already move faster than the U.S. on crypto rules. He said banks lobbying against the CLARITY Act delay the bill because it would let crypto exchanges take market share from banks.

BlackRock Insider Reveals ripple:native Clarity Act BOMSHELL!!!https://t.co/zgKik8g0uS

— Levi | Crypto Crusaders (@LeviRietveld) July 4, 2026

The SEC Reforms

Rietveld also played a clip of Atkins describing “Project Crypto,” the SEC’s push to modernize digital asset rules. Atkins, who has led the pro-crypto SEC regime since Donald Trump took office, said the commission has delivered the certainty the community has been calling for. Issuers can now know whether a token is a security before they act.

Where the CLARITY Act Stands

The Senate Banking Committee advanced the CLARITY Act on May 14 by a vote of 15-9. Lawmakers placed the bill on the Senate Legislative Calendar in June. It still needs a floor vote, and that vote requires 60 votes to beat a filibuster. However, the bill did not pass by July 4, missing the White House’s stated target date.

What This Means for XRP

Rietveld predicted short-term turbulence for XRP once the market fully absorbs that the CLARITY Act missed its July 4 target. He said whales and institutional investors are positioning for a near-term correction.

He framed the longer view differently. He said crypto adoption will keep expanding regardless of the bill’s exact timeline, pointing to parallel movement in the U.S., Europe and Asia. His stated strategy is to dollar-cost average through volatility and treat six-month swings as noise against the longer cycle.

Over 140 companies launched Open USD (OUSD) on June 30. Ripple, Visa, Mastercard, BlackRock, and Google all signed on. The stablecoin uses consortium governance. No single company controls it, and partners share reserve earnings rather than one issuer keeping the yield.

Versan Aljarrah, founder of Black Swan Capitalist, posted about the launch and zeroed in on Ripple’s position within it. He pointed out that Ripple sits “right in the middle” of the announcement, positioning XRP as the bridge for moving that value globally.

Over 140 companies, including Ripple, Visa, Mastercard, @BlackRock, and Google, just launched (OUSD), a consortium-governed stablecoin.

No mint/redeem fees and shared reserve earnings.@Ripple is right in the middle, positioning XRP as the bridge for moving that value globally. pic.twitter.com/9tkp9xEeCN

— Versan | Black Swan Capitalist (@VersanAljarrah) June 30, 2026

A New Stablecoin With No Fees

OUSD charges nothing to mint or redeem. There’s no cap on issuance either. The entity behind it, Open Standard, distributes most reserve income back to the partner companies after a small management fee. That structure flips the usual stablecoin model, where the issuer keeps the yield and users get a flat dollar token in return.

For Aljarrah, the partner list itself tells the story. Ripple isn’t a bystander here. It’s embedded in the infrastructure layer, sitting alongside the companies that move money at the largest scale in the world.

Split Community Reactions

Replies to the post varied significantly. One commenter asked how XRP bridges value if every company on the list ends up using the same stablecoin. Another argued that the news is bullish for Ripple’s long-term role regardless, since the company seems focused on becoming essential to the digital-money movement rather than just owning a share of the market.

A third reply zoomed out, saying that whether OUSD or another regulated stablecoin wins out, the real story is that the world’s largest financial and tech companies are building blockchain-based payment infrastructure right now. One more reply joked that the timing explains why prices are dropping, since good news in this market always seems to coincide with red candles.

We are on X, follow us to connect with us :- @TimesTabloid1

XRP’s Potential Role

The presence of Visa, Mastercard, BlackRock and Google signals that stablecoin infrastructure is moving from speculative territory into something closer to standard financial plumbing. Ripple’s spot in that group matters specifically to XRP holders.

If OUSD scales the way its backers intend, the network handling that value movement needs proven settlement rails. Ripple has spent years positioning XRP for exactly that role. The asset offers fast, low-cost cross-border settlement. A stablecoin with zero mint and redeem fees, backed by payment giants and asset managers, still needs a bridge to move efficiently between currencies and platforms.

That’s the connection Aljarrah drew. Whether OUSD becomes the dominant stablecoin or just one of several major players, Ripple’s presence in its launch group puts XRP in the conversation at the infrastructure level rather than the speculative one.

Speculation surrounding a potential XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF) involving BlackRock has resurfaced, with crypto commentator Jungle Inc drawing attention to what he believes is a more significant development taking place behind the scenes.

Jungle Inc referenced comments from market analyst Jake Claver, who suggested that BlackRock could eventually pursue an XRP ETF as institutional interest in the XRP Ledger (XRPL) continues to expand.

While ETF discussions often dominate headlines within the digital asset sector, Jungle Inc argued that the growing network of institutions and financial firms engaging with XRPL may be the more important story.

According to the commentator’s post on X, several major names have become increasingly associated with the XRP Ledger ecosystem. He pointed to companies including BlackRock, Mastercard, Franklin Templeton, DBS, Securitize, and Bitso as examples of organizations whose involvement has attracted attention from market participants monitoring XRPL’s development.

BlackRock XRP ETF speculation is heating up again.

Jake Claver says BlackRock could eventually file for an XRP ETF as institutional interest in the XRP Ledger grows.

And this is the bigger story:

BlackRock, Mastercard, Franklin Templeton, DBS, Securitize, Bitso…

The names…

Infrastructure Expansion Continues Across the XRPL Ecosystem

Jungle Inc emphasized that XRP’s future is not solely dependent on the approval of an ETF product. Instead, he highlighted the ongoing expansion of infrastructure within the Ripple and XRPL ecosystem.

The commentator noted that Ripple has continued to introduce new capabilities and services to increase utility across the network. Among the developments mentioned were RLUSD, MXNB, AI-agent payment functionality, and regulated settlement tools designed to support institutional-grade financial activity.

His comments suggest that the foundation for broader adoption is being established before any potential ETF approval becomes a reality. Rather than viewing an ETF as the primary catalyst for growth, Jungle Inc presented it as a possible outcome that could follow increased institutional participation and ecosystem maturity.

The post framed current developments as evidence that XRPL is actively evolving through technology, payment solutions, and financial infrastructure rather than remaining dependent on speculative investment products.

Community Responds With Skepticism Over ETF Predictions

While some members of the XRP community welcomed the observations, others expressed caution regarding the ETF narrative and the forecasts associated with it.

One commenter, known as BrutallyHonest, pointed out that Jake Claver had previously predicted XRP could reach $100 by December 2025. The remark appeared to question the reliability of Claver’s projections and suggested that investors should evaluate his latest comments carefully.

Another user, KameradLes, took a more direct approach, criticizing what he viewed as excessive hype surrounding XRP. Although he reaffirmed his belief in the digital asset itself, he rejected what he described as exaggerated claims often promoted within the community.

Despite those reactions, Jungle Inc’s central argument remained focused on the broader growth of the XRP Ledger ecosystem. His commentary suggested that if institutional adoption of XRPL continues to expand, discussions about a future XRP ETF may eventually shift from speculation toward a more realistic possibility.

A recent post by crypto researcher SMQKE has highlighted the growing connections between major institutional finance players and blockchain infrastructure providers.

The post sheds light on Wormhole’s role in facilitating interoperability for BlackRock’s tokenized assets through Securitize and noted that Ripple’s stablecoin, RLUSD, is now live on the Wormhole network.

According to SMQKE, these developments create another avenue of access linking BlackRock’s tokenized ecosystem to Ripple’s broader digital asset infrastructure.

The tweet notes a series of partnerships and integrations that have gradually connected some of the largest names in traditional finance with blockchain-based settlement and interoperability solutions. While the post suggests a potential connection to XRP, the underlying developments center on the expanding relationship between BlackRock, Securitize, Wormhole, and Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin.

Remember, Wormhole facilitates direct interoperability for Blackrock and powers Securitize’s cross-chain capabilities which also utilizes RLUSD.

Now, RLUSD is live on Wormhole.

Another path of access for BlackRock to XRP.

Documented. https://t.co/PMuiInKzdw pic.twitter.com/CaoCBk95nY

— SMQKE (@SMQKEDQG) June 4, 2026

Wormhole’s Role in BlackRock’s Tokenized Fund Infrastructure

At the center of the discussion is Wormhole, a blockchain interoperability protocol that enables assets and data to move across different blockchain networks. Securitize, a leading tokenization platform, selected Wormhole as its interoperability provider to support the expansion of tokenized assets across multiple blockchain ecosystems.

This arrangement is particularly significant because Securitize manages infrastructure associated with BlackRock’s BUIDL fund, the USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund. Through Wormhole’s technology, BUIDL can extend its presence beyond a single blockchain and access liquidity across multiple networks, including Ethereum, Solana, and Avalanche.

The ability to move tokenized assets across chains has become increasingly important as institutions seek broader access to digital markets while maintaining operational efficiency and liquidity.

RLUSD Expands Through Wormhole Integration

SMQKE’s post also highlighted another recent development: RLUSD is now live on Wormhole. Ripple’s stablecoin has adopted Wormhole’s Native Token Transfers standard, allowing the asset to move across supported blockchain networks while preserving security and compliance requirements.

The integration builds on an existing relationship between Ripple and Securitize. Earlier initiatives introduced functionality for institutional holders of BlackRock’s BUIDL fund to access RLUSD for integrated smart contract mechanisms. This setup provides an additional liquidity option for participants operating within tokenized financial markets.

We are on X, follow us to connect with us :- @TimesTabloid1

— TimesTabloid (@TimesTabloid1) June 15, 2025

As RLUSD becomes interoperable across multiple networks through Wormhole, it joins the same infrastructure environment that supports BlackRock’s tokenized fund operations, creating a more interconnected institutional ecosystem.

The XRP Connection Remains a Topic of Market Interest

The most discussed aspect of SMQKE’s tweet is the suggestion that these developments represent another pathway connecting BlackRock’s ecosystem to XRP. While the post frames the relationship as a growing point of access, the available information does not indicate that BlackRock is directly purchasing or utilizing XRP.

Instead, the connection stems from Ripple’s broader ecosystem. RLUSD, issued by Ripple, operates alongside the company’s wider suite of blockchain and payment solutions, which includes the XRP Ledger. As institutional participants gain exposure to infrastructure linked to Ripple products, market observers view this as increasing the visibility and relevance of Ripple’s technology stack.

Crypto analyst BullRunners recently shared an opinion suggesting that BlackRock not yet filing for an XRP exchange-traded fund may not indicate a lack of interest in XRP.

Instead, the analyst suggested that the world’s largest asset manager could already be strategically involved in Ripple’s infrastructure while remaining silent publicly.

BullRunners opened the discussion by claiming that seven spot XRP ETFs are already live and trading in the United States. According to the analyst, the products collectively manage more than $1.5 billion in assets while hundreds of millions of XRP tokens remain locked in custody.

He argued that BlackRock’s absence from the market stands out because competing firms such as Franklin Templeton, Grayscale, Bitwise, and Canary Capital have already moved forward with XRP-related products.

Ripple #XRP IT'S ALL RIGGED! BlackRock Insider Leak Exposed Their Final XRP ETF Plan… pic.twitter.com/4rxwaq1meu

— BULLRUNNERS (@BullrunnersHQ) May 18, 2026

Comparison With BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF Strategy

A major part of the presentation focused on BlackRock’s previous approach to Bitcoin ETFs. BullRunners pointed to the launch of BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, known as IBIT, and said the company historically waits until market conditions strongly favor approval before filing products with regulators.

The analyst stated that BlackRock has submitted hundreds of ETF applications over the years and has faced very few rejections from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He argued that the firm prefers its competitors to market first.

BullRunners compared that strategy to the current XRP market, noting that multiple companies have already launched or proposed XRP investment products while BlackRock has remained publicly inactive. He suggested this silence may represent a deliberate strategy rather than a lack of interest.

Ripple Conference Appearance Draws Attention

The video also highlighted BlackRock’s participation in Ripple’s Swell conference in late 2025. BullRunners referenced comments allegedly made by Maxwell Stein, BlackRock’s director of digital assets, during the event.

According to the analyst, Stein praised Ripple’s infrastructure and stated that blockchain systems built by companies like Ripple could facilitate trillions of dollars in value movement in the future. BullRunners argued that BlackRock’s decision to send a senior executive to Ripple’s private institutional conference contradicts the idea that the company lacks interest in XRP-related infrastructure.

BullRunners further discussed BlackRock’s BUIDL tokenized money market fund and its reported integration with RLUSD through Securitize on the XRP Ledger. He claimed this demonstrates that BlackRock’s products are already connected to Ripple-based infrastructure in a real-world environment.

Focus on BlackRock Executive Robert Mitchnick

Another key section of the video centered on Robert Mitchnick, BlackRock’s global head of digital assets. BullRunners noted that Michnik reportedly interned at Ripple in 2017 and later co-authored crypto valuation research alongside Ripple board member Susan Athey.

The analyst argued that Mitchnick’s prior relationship with Ripple makes BlackRock’s current position on XRP more significant. BullRunners repeatedly questioned why the company has not filed for an XRP ETF despite its connections and involvement in tokenized asset infrastructure linked to Ripple technology.

Throughout the video, BullRunners maintained that institutional investors often position themselves privately before making public announcements. He suggested that BlackRock may already be preparing for future XRP involvement behind the scenes, though he acknowledged that no official XRP ETF filing from BlackRock currently exists.

Financial expert Levi Rietveld has shared a bullish outlook on XRP and Ondo after discussing BlackRock’s latest move into blockchain-based financial products.

In a recent tweet, Rietveld claimed that BlackRock is “about to do something insane with XRP and Ondo,” pointing to the asset manager’s growing involvement in tokenized finance.

In the video attached to the post, Rietveld told viewers that the crypto market had reached a significant moment following reports that BlackRock is launching a tokenized money market fund on the Ethereum blockchain. He described the development as an important step for institutional blockchain adoption and emphasized the scale of the initiative.

According to Rietveld, the filing involves a digital share class connected to BlackRock’s $6.1 billion treasury-based liquidity fund. The fund reportedly invests in cash, U.S. Treasury bills, notes, and other short-term securities with maturities of 93 days or less. He explained that the product will initially operate on Ethereum, which he acknowledged as a short-term advantage for the network.

Rietveld Connects Ripple and Ondo to BlackRock’s Tokenization Plans

While discussing the Ethereum launch, Rietveld argued that the larger opportunity could eventually involve XRP and Ondo. He referenced what he described as recent leaks suggesting that both Ripple and Ondo are working with BlackRock in real-world asset tokenization.

Rietveld stated that the tokenization of real-world assets could become one of the most important developments in the digital asset sector. He suggested that trillions of dollars in financial products may eventually move onto blockchain infrastructure, creating demand for networks and tokens designed for institutional settlement and liquidity.

During the video, he said that although Ethereum may receive attention for hosting BlackRock’s tokenized fund at launch, he does not believe the long-term expansion of tokenized assets will happen solely on Ethereum. Instead, he argued that XRP and Ondo could play a major role as the sector develops further.

XRP and Ondo Positioned as Long-Term Beneficiaries

Rietveld specifically highlighted XRP and Ondo as benefactors of institutional tokenization efforts. He stated that both projects are positioned for “huge numbers” if large-scale real-world asset adoption continues to grow.

His comments reflect a wider trend in the crypto industry, where investors increasingly focus on tokenized versions of traditional financial products such as bonds, treasury funds, and other yield-generating instruments. Many market participants believe that major asset managers entering the sector could accelerate institutional participation in blockchain technology.

The discussion around BlackRock’s involvement has also increased interest in how companies like Ripple and Ondo may contribute to the tokenization market. Supporters of XRP frequently point to Ripple’s connections within the financial industry as a potential advantage if institutions continue adopting blockchain-based settlement systems.

Rietveld’s remarks added to ongoing speculation surrounding the future of tokenized real-world assets and the possible role XRP could play as institutional adoption expands across global financial markets.

Crypto researcher SMQKE recently revisited a proof as to why BlackRock has not filed for an XRP Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF).

SMQKE shared an “evidence-based forecast of an upcoming BlackRock ETF,” while directing attention back to a previous detailed explanation outlining why the asset manager had not yet filed for an XRP ETF.

The renewed focus on the older post comes as speculation around crypto-based ETFs continues to grow across the digital asset sector. XRP remains one of the most discussed assets in ETF conversations, especially after developments involving futures products, ongoing regulatory reviews, and increasing institutional activity in crypto markets.

In the highlighted post, SMQKE argued that BlackRock’s absence from the XRP ETF race did not indicate a lack of interest. Instead, the researcher presented several reasons suggesting that the company may simply be waiting for more favorable conditions before making a move.

Evidence-based forecast of an upcoming BlackRock ETF. https://t.co/ht5luLzOah

— SMQKE (@SMQKEDQG) May 9, 2026

Regulatory Conditions Remain a Central Issue

According to the earlier analysis, regulatory uncertainty remains one of the primary factors delaying a potential XRP ETF filing. SMQKE noted that although the court ruled that XRP is not a security in the secondary market, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has continued to delay decisions tied to crypto ETFs and broader digital asset classifications.

It is important to note that as of May 2026, the regulatory fog surrounding XRP has cleared significantly. The SEC and CFTC finally settled this debate in March 2026. Through a joint final rule, XRP was officially classified as a digital commodity, placing it in the same legal category as Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Futures Market and Liquidity Seen as Key Factors

SMQKE also highlighted the importance of institutional-grade derivatives markets. The post referenced the launch of XRP CME futures on May 19, 2025, noting that the product generated $19 million in volume on its first day.

Although he described the launch as an important development, he argued that the XRP futures market is still relatively new compared to Bitcoin and Ethereum.

The earlier commentary stated that large institutions generally look for sustained trading activity and deeper liquidity before fully committing to investment products tied to a digital asset. According to SMQKE, BlackRock may want to see XRP’s derivatives market mature further before introducing an ETF product.

Liquidity was another major point in the analysis. While XRP was described as having strong market depth compared to many altcoins, SMQKE argued that ETF products require consistently high liquidity to support large inflows and outflows. The post stated that regulators closely monitor these conditions when reviewing ETF applications.

BlackRock’s Current Priorities Remain Focused Elsewhere

The researcher also claimed that BlackRock’s current attention remains centered on expanding its already successful Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF offerings. Those products have continued attracting strong institutional demand, which, according to SMQKE, may explain why the company has not rushed into the XRP ETF market.

At the same time, the post suggested BlackRock may be observing how regulators respond to XRP and Solana ETF applications submitted by other firms.

SMQKE concluded that the company appears to be waiting for a stronger regulatory environment, deeper market maturity, and sustained investor demand before making what was described as a calculated move into the XRP ETF sector.

Interest surrounding a possible XRP exchange-traded fund continues to grow as market participants watch for signs that major financial institutions may soon enter the sector.

In an X post, crypto enthusiast Skipper shared comments from financial strategist Jake Claver, who believes that BlackRock could be preparing to launch an XRP ETF once regulatory conditions become more favorable.

The post focused heavily on the idea that institutional adoption of XRP is already gaining momentum. According to Skipper, leveraged XRP ETF products have already entered the market, while additional firms remain on the sidelines waiting for more clarity around crypto regulations and stablecoin policies before moving forward with similar offerings.

Skipper also linked the conversation to growing activity in blockchain-related investments, stating that capital is already moving on-chain at a rapid pace as institutions become more comfortable with digital asset products.

Jake Claver believes BlackRock is waiting for the right moment to launch an XRP ETF as crypto regulation and stablecoin clarity continue to improve. With leveraged XRP ETFs already live, institutional adoption is accelerating.

That shift is already underway — and capital is… https://t.co/o8kQnFGzCC pic.twitter.com/0nSaYExx3c

Jake Claver Points to Regulatory Developments

In the video attached to the post, Jake Claver explained that BlackRock is likely waiting for what he described as the “opportune time” to introduce an XRP ETF product. He suggested that several developments within the financial and regulatory environment could influence the timing of such a decision.

Claver referenced the recent launch of a 3-times leveraged XRP ETF product, noting that it signals increasing market acceptance for XRP-related investment vehicles. He added that more ETF products are expected to follow as firms evaluate market conditions.

According to Claver, guidance from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency regarding stablecoins could play an important role in boosting institutional confidence. He also mentioned the GENIUS Act and its expected implementation timeline, explaining that the regulatory direction taken by U.S. authorities may encourage major firms such as BlackRock to move forward with crypto investment products.

Claver stated that clearer rules for banks and stablecoin operations could become a major catalyst for institutions that have so far remained cautious about launching XRP-based financial products.

Skipper Highlights Early Entry Opportunity

The tweet also argued that the current period may represent an early entry opportunity before institutional participation becomes more widespread. While the post mainly focused on Jake Claver’s remarks regarding BlackRock and XRP ETFs, it also tied those comments to the idea that digital asset markets are entering another phase of institutional involvement.

As speculation surrounding a potential XRP ETF continues, comments from market commentators such as Jake Claver are likely to remain part of the ongoing conversation around institutional crypto adoption and the future direction of regulated XRP investment products.

He added plainly, “That’s how little there is left.” That observation reframes the current supply situation in a way raw percentages alone do not capture.

An entity like Blackrock could buy 16Billion XRP in one single order.

— Chad Steingraber (@ChadSteingraber) April 24, 2026

What the Previous Data Already Showed

This comment builds on data Steingraber shared earlier. Across 41 tracked exchanges, total XRP holdings had already fallen 16% since February 24, 2025, dropping over $3 billion from roughly $19.17 billion to approximately $16.1 billion.

Dozens of exchanges recorded significant outflows. Korbit lost 99.72% of its balance. KuCoin shed 99.82%. OKX fell to just $163 in total holdings.

Even major platforms showed sharp declines. Kraken dropped 87.32%. Bithumb lost 42.75%. Steingraber’s earlier assessment showed that XRP’s available supply on exchanges is shrinking.

The BlackRock Scenario

Steingraber’s latest post takes that shrinking supply and places it against institutional scale. BlackRock manages over $10 trillion in assets.

A single large allocation toward XRP from a firm at that level could absorb the entire available exchange supply in one move. That is an illustration of the size gap between institutional capital and current XRP availability on exchanges.

Institutional interest in XRP has grown significantly. BlackRock already operates a Bitcoin ETF, and the possibility of similar products for other digital assets remains a live conversation in markets. Steingraber’s point is that XRP’s available supply is now small enough to make that kind of institutional entry a meaningful market event.

What This Means for XRP’s Price

Supply shock occurs when available supply cannot meet rising demand, forcing the price to move sharply upward. XRP’s exchange balances are now thin enough to make that scenario credible.

A large buyer entering the market against $16.1 billion in total exchange holdings faces very little resistance before supply runs out. That creates conditions where the price can move fast and far.

The outflows recorded since February 2025 show holders have already been removing XRP from exchanges at scale. Less supply is available for immediate sale. If institutional demand arrives at the level Steingraber references, a supply shock becomes a genuine possibility rather than a distant one.

The Takeaway

At $16.1 billion in total exchange holdings, XRP’s entire available supply fits within the scope of a single order from a major institutional player. If demand grows at institutional scale, the available supply on exchanges may not be sufficient to absorb it without significant price movement.
