To ensure the authenticity and legitimacy of its luxury alcoholic products, the Cambodia-based Attwood Import Export company has announced the implementation of its unique security tool named Attwood Blockchain Sticker (ABS). Meanwhile, the launching ceremony was held in July ending.
More so, each sticker is developed to contain key product information, hashed on the VeChainThor blockchain. In application, the company will attach the sticker to each bottle of its products.
With the use of a smartphone and the appropriate application, buyers of any of the company’s alcoholic beverages can scan the sticker attached to the bottles to verify the origin and originality of the products. The overall aim is to protect customers by preventing fraud and the purchase of counterfeit goods.

In response, Mr. Tan Se Chhay, Chief Executive Officer of Attwood noted; “As a leading import export trading company, Attwood has always played an important role in bridging the gap between brands and consumers. Through the partnership with VeChain Tech, we strengthen the ability to take responsibility for our customers and products.”
