Pundit XRP Holders: This Is Why I Think We Are Close to Our Next Leg

XRP’s prolonged price struggles have frustrated even some of its most committed holders, but crypto enthusiast Mino believes the growing pessimism could signal an approaching recovery.

In a recent post, Mino pointed to complaints from investors who say XRP has delivered little, admit they can no longer tolerate the wait, or have already sold their holdings. The crypto enthusiast views this shift in sentiment as a possible sign that XRP is nearing its next upward move.

Mino Points to Growing Frustration Among Holders

Mino observed that criticism of XRP now comes from both skeptics and existing holders. The crypto enthusiast believes the growing disappointment could indicate that market sentiment has reached a level often seen before prices recover.

However, widespread frustration does not confirm that XRP will rally soon. Market liquidity, investor demand, Bitcoin’s performance and developments across the cryptocurrency sector can all influence its price. Mino’s assessment remains a sentiment-based prediction rather than a confirmed market signal.

Long-Term Investors Question XRP’s Performance

Ariel Gonzalez challenged the idea that holders should simply accept the current situation. Gonzalez said he was among the 60,000 people who signed up with attorney John Deaton to defend XRP during its legal battle.

After holding for 14 years, Gonzalez expressed disappointment that XRP remained around $1.27 despite what he described as positive developments over the past two years. He said long-term supporters want their patience to deliver financial returns.

Debate Grows Over Patience and Institutional Adoption

Another commenter, Salerns, defended a long-term investment approach, noting that markets can test investors’ conviction before delivering returns. Salerns pointed to utility, adoption and transformation as important parts of the XRP investment thesis, while cautioning that frustration neither guarantees a rally nor automatically justifies selling.

G man took a more critical position. The commenter argued that Ripple could stop releasing XRP from escrow to tighten supply but has chosen not to do so. G man also questioned whether institutional adoption of the XRP Ledger would benefit retail holders, noting that institutions can use the network without necessarily owning XRP.

That distinction raises an important question for investors: whether growth in XRP Ledger activity will translate into greater demand for the token.

Mino believes the growing pessimism could precede XRP’s next upward move, but the comments reveal that many holders want stronger price performance before accepting that outlook. Whether current sentiment marks a turning point will depend on actual market demand and price action, not frustration alone.
