US-Based Pub Now Accepts Dogecoin (DOGE) As Payment Option

The Lost Leaf, a US-based drinks shop, is the next food-related business to incorporate the largest meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) in its business as a payment option after Burger King and MrBeast Burger showcased an interest in accepting the cryptocurrency.

The new development was announced on 27th January 2022 via The Lost Leaf’s official Twitter handle. According to the report, customers are to just scan the QR code at the bar to make payments from their respective crypto wallets.

The Lost Leaf tweeted, “We will now accept Dogecoin $DOGE for payments! Much Beer! Just scan the qrcode at the bar to pay with your crypto wallet. 1st 3 people gets a Lost Leaf shirt with NXOEED.ETH design! Do only good everyday!”

Dogecoin Co-Founder Reacts to the Adoption

Shibetoshi Nakamoto, Dogecoin (DOGE) co-founder, showcased his excitement in the latest development.

Reacting to the adoption, he wrote, how cool! if i’m ever in phoenix i’ll definitely swing by.”

In the wake of McDonald’s subtle refusal to Elon Musk’s request, Shibetoshi Nakamoto dished out tips to fans who want companies to incorporate Dogecoin (DOGE) as a payment option.

Dogecoin co-founder wrote, “Remember, if you want companies to accept dogecoin: – be cool! People don’t listen to jerks – show them why it is beneficial for them! Make win-win scenarios. Show how engaged and cool the community is – don’t act entitled or angry! No one likes that. Be smart #dogefam.”

Burger King and MrBeast Burger Show Interest in Accepting DOGE

When Elon Musk promised to eat a Happy Meal on television if McDonald’s started to take DOGE, the company respectfully declined. But the Tesla CEO’s tweet received backing from Burger King’s official Twitter page.

The latter responded with a cryptic message that the Doge community interpreted for interest in their favorite crypto.

Similarly, MrBeast Burger appeared to be interested in accepting Dogecoin after Elon Musk’s recent tweet addressed to McDonald’s. The fast-food company had tweeted: ‘‘@elonmusk if you retweet this we will work on accepting Dogecoin.”

Billy Markus retweeted MrBeast Burger’s message instead of Elon Musk while stating that the DogeArmy is strong enough to get some heavy engagement instead. Dogecoin users continue to keep their fingers crossed on the latest developments surrounding MrBeast burger and BurgerKing’s acceptance.
