Per the announcement made on July 8, citizens of New York and Hawaii are exempted from accessing the new development.

OnXRP trading platform noted that due to regulations, this development cannot be accessed by Canadian users. Furthermore, OnXRP tweeted;

“We present you our fiat onramp powered by Banxa that can be found under “cash” on our dex or directly at: dex.onxrp.com/onRamp”

“Global and USA citizens (apart from NY and Hawaii) can buy XRP easily now using Creditcard and ApplePay.”

“Sadly we can’t offer these services in Canada due to regulations. However, opening up to most US states was the most important to us. Everyone should have the freedom to decide to buy XRP.”

Additionally, onXRP stated that there are other payment methods for purchasing Ripple tokens via its decentralized marketplace. For Dutch users, the iDeal payment gateway is available.
