Tom Brady to Vitalik Buterin: Thank You for Everything You’ve Built in the World of Crypto

Tom Brady, an American football quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League, has praised Ethereum co-founder, Vitalik Buterin, for his impact on the development of the crypto industry.

It can be recalled that Buterin claimed not to know who Brady is after he was taunted by many over his physical appearance on TIME Magazine. Ethereum co-founder shared the comment of a user, who wrote, “Anyone else think he looks like if Tom Brady did meth?”

Brady said he hopes to meet Ethereum co-founder in person someday. He concluded by adding an emoji of a goat, representing G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time).

Tom Brady tweeted, “What’s up Vitalik! You may not know me but just wanted to say I’m a big fan of yours. Thank you for everything you’ve built in the world of crypto, otherwise @Autograph wouldn’t have been possible. Hope I get to meet you some day you’re the goat.”

Vitalik Buterin Says Crypto Is Becoming Right-Leaning Thing

While speaking with TIME Magazine, Buterin expressed his concern over the future of the fast-growing crypto industry.

According to Ethereum co-founder, the crypto ecosystem will have to lose some of its potentials before the asset class could be considered a right-leaning thing. He said failure to become a right-leaning thing will turn it to prey in the hands of dictatorial governments.

Vitalik Buterin noted:

“There are definitely signs that are making it seem like crypto is on the verge of becoming a right-leaning thing. If it does happen, we’ll sacrifice a lot of the potential it has to offer.”
