A well-known figure in the XRP community has placed an old mystery back into focus through a direct exchange with Elon Musk’s AI model, Grok.

Vet (@Vet_XO), a validator on the XRP Ledger, posted an image containing four individuals who have appeared in past speculation around Satoshi Nakamoto’s identity (anonymous Bitcoin creator). He then asked Grok to remove everyone who isn’t Satoshi from the image.

hey @grok remove everyone who is not satoshi from this image. pic.twitter.com/9bvTHWE2dH

— Vet (@Vet_X0) January 2, 2026

Grok’s Opinion on Satoshi’s Identity

The image featured David Schwartz, a prominent figure in the crypto space who recently announced that he would step down from his role as Chief Technology Officer at Ripple. Alongside Schwartz, it featured Hal Finney, a pioneering cryptographer and the first person to receive a Bitcoin transaction from its creator, Satoshi Nakamoto.

It also showed Nick Szabo, a computer scientist, legal scholar, and cryptographer known for his significant contributions to the development of digital currency and smart contracts. It also featured the late cybersecurity expert Dan Kaminsky, who was a renowned white-hat hacker and a prominent figure in the field of network security.

Grok replied with an edited image that removed three people, leaving only David Schwartz, Ripple’s Chief Technology Officer. For years, many in the crypto world have speculated that Schwartz is Satoshi, and Grok’s response has drawn renewed attention to these claims.

Is Schwartz Really Satoshi?

Vet rejected the outcome and challenged the reasoning behind it. He showed skepticism and pushed Grok to explain why it singled out Schwartz. Grok followed up with a clarification. The AI emphasized uncertainty and referenced existing narratives around Satoshi’s identity.

Grok pointed to long-running speculation tied to Schwartz’s background. It referenced his early work in cryptography and distributed systems, including patents dating back to the late 1980s, as well as his role at Ripple. Grok also noted that Schwartz has publicly denied being Satoshi Nakamoto and has said he first learned about Bitcoin in 2011.

Why Schwartz Remains Part of the Theory

David Schwartz remains part of Satoshi discussions largely due to public perception and the narratives circulating online. Community speculation often highlights high-profile crypto figures with leadership roles in major projects, and Schwartz fits that profile.

His visibility on social media, participation in XRP Ledger development, and engagement with crypto debates give his name repeated exposure. Multiple notable figures have also directly and indirectly suggested that Schwartz is Nakamoto, and the speculation is unlikely to die soon.

A recently resurfaced court document from the SEC’s lawsuit against Ripple has revealed that Ripple’s Chief Technology Officer, David Schwartz, suggested that the creator of Bitcoin, known under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto, likely owned a substantial amount of XRP.

This assertion was made during Schwartz’s deposition filed in 2023, as part of the ongoing legal proceedings brought by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission against Ripple Labs.

The deposition transcript, shared online by the X account XrpHodL, includes Schwartz’s comments on how Ripple’s management of XRP compares to the distribution of Bitcoin. He pointed to Ripple’s operational control of XRP as a competitive advantage in building a payments ecosystem.

On the topic of Bitcoin’s distribution, he acknowledged it is much harder to track due to its decentralized nature. Nonetheless, he stated: “Satoshi, the original Bitcoin creator, probably held an enormous amount of XRP at the time.” When asked what time, he said “2017”.

Schwartz noted that Ripple deliberately focused on building infrastructure and utility around XRP as part of its payment solutions, while no comparable development efforts were undertaken for Bitcoin.

According to him, the company’s ability to influence XRP’s ecosystem distinguished it from Bitcoin, whose distribution and control remain opaque. His deposition emphasized that Ripple’s direct role in XRP’s adoption set it apart from Bitcoin’s purely decentralized approach.

Speculation Linking Schwartz and Nakamoto

Schwartz’s statement that Satoshi “probably held an enormous amount of XRP” points to a possible connection between him and Bitcoin’s pseudonymous creator. Although Schwartz has never claimed to be Nakamoto, various coincidences in the history of cryptocurrency development have fueled rumors.

Observers have previously noted that the timeline of XRP Ledger’s development and Satoshi Nakamoto’s withdrawal from Bitcoin appear to align. Nakamoto announced his intent to “move on to other things” in 2011, which is also the year Schwartz began to publicly express interest in working on new projects.

Further adding to this speculation is the fact that Schwartz, alongside Arthur Britto and Jed McCaleb, initiated development of the XRP Ledger shortly thereafter, which culminated in its 2012 launch. Ripple adopted the XRP Ledger as the foundation of its blockchain-based payment platform.

No Evidence Confirms Schwartz as Satoshi Nakamoto

Despite these observations and Schwartz’s comment on Satoshi’s supposed XRP holdings, there is no evidence confirming that Schwartz is the individual behind the Nakamoto pseudonym. His statement during the deposition has nonetheless added to the ongoing curiosity about the identity of Bitcoin’s creator and their potential involvement in other blockchain projects.

While Schwartz’s remarks offer insight into how Ripple viewed its role in XRP’s development relative to Bitcoin’s trajectory, they remain speculative regarding Nakamoto’s holdings or identity.

Another proof that Ripple CTO David Schwartz is a Satoshi Nakamoto, the group of developers that created Bitcoin, has emerged.

Vandell, the co-founder of Black Swan Capitalist, has revived a long-circulating theory tying early digital currency development to U.S. intelligence agencies, specifically the National Security Agency (NSA).

In a recent tweet, Vandell revisits a 1996 NSA publication titled “How to Make a Mint: The Cryptography of Anonymous Electronic Cash” and raises questions about the timing of David Schwartz’s involvement with the NSA. Schwartz, one of the original architects behind the XRP Ledger, filed a patent for distributed ledger technology the same year the NSA paper was released.

This 1996 NSA article “How to Make a Mint”

Coincidence David Shwartz, one of the original architects of the XRP Ledger began work with the NSA the same year his patent was accepted?

Hidden in plain… pic.twitter.com/rOOWLzH54j

— Vandell | Black Swan Capitalist (@vandell33) June 1, 2025

The 1996 NSA Paper and Cryptographic Foundations

The NSA’s How to Make a Mint outlines the technical requirements for creating anonymous digital cash. Among the references cited in the document is a 1995 paper by Tatsuaki Okamoto titled An Efficient Divisible Electronic Cash Scheme (reference #11 in the bibliography of the image Vandell shared).

Vandell draws attention to this citation to highlight a potential connection between foundational digital cash concepts and the eventual creation of Bitcoin. Okamoto’s work has long been recognized in the cryptographic community as pioneering and influential in the development of electronic money protocols.

The Schwartz Timeline and Patent Filing

What Vandell emphasizes is the convergence of events in 1996: the NSA’s publication of the anonymous digital cash paper and the acceptance of David Schwartz’s patent for distributed computer systems.

Schwartz reportedly began working with the NSA the same year. Vandell implies that this timeline is not coincidental but indicative of a coordinated effort involving government agencies and select technologists.

The patent in question, filed by Schwartz, outlines a method for securely managing distributed computer systems—technology that resembles early blockchain concepts. This technological overlap is central to Vandell’s thesis: that both Bitcoin and XRP may share common developmental roots traceable to work done within or influenced by NSA research.

We are on twitter, follow us to connect with us :- @TimesTabloid1

Implications Regarding Satoshi Nakamoto

Vandell further escalates the claim by suggesting that David Schwartz is, in fact, Satoshi Nakamoto—the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin. He argues that the parallels between Schwartz’s early government work, his technical contributions to distributed ledger systems, and the timing of Bitcoin’s conceptual development form a compelling case. According to Vandell, these data points are not random but deliberately connected, pointing to Schwartz as a likely identity behind Satoshi.

While no direct evidence is provided to confirm this assertion, the alignment of events and technologies is presented as circumstantial proof. Vandell states that Bitcoin and XRP both trace back to NSA labs and that this origin has been “hidden in plain sight.” He also claims that the creation of Bitcoin and other blockchain-based systems may have occurred under the oversight of intelligence agencies and powerful technology interests.

Vandell’s tweet reinforces a long-running narrative suggesting that the genesis of blockchain technology was not solely the product of anonymous developers or decentralized communities, but instead may involve state-level research and coordination.

By referencing the NSA’s 1996 paper, David Schwartz’s patent, and foundational cryptographic research by Tatsuaki Okamoto, Vandell outlines what he believes to be a credible timeline that repositions Schwartz not only as a key figure in the XRP ecosystem but potentially as the creator of Bitcoin itself. These claims remain speculative, but they reflect ongoing curiosity and skepticism about the true origins of digital currency.

The crypto community is buzzing after a bold claim from prominent XRP advocate Amelie, who took to X to suggest that David Schwartz, the current CTO of Ripple, may have been involved in the creation of Bitcoin. Amelie’s assertion is based on intriguing circumstantial evidence, which has sparked debates among enthusiasts and skeptics.

The Timeline That Raises Eyebrows

According to Amelie’s post, Satoshi Nakamoto’s last known communication occurred in April 2011, after which the enigmatic Bitcoin creator vanished from the public eye. In a curious coincidence, David Schwartz began working on the XRP Ledger just a month later, in May 2011. This temporal overlap has led some to question whether Schwartz, who has a long history in cryptography and blockchain development, could have been involved in Bitcoin’s early days.

Satoshi’s last known communication was in April 2011.

David Schwartz began working on the XRP Ledger in May 2011, shortly after Satoshi’s departure.

The same people who created BTC, also created $XRP. pic.twitter.com/xaE1y9g6co

— EDO FARINA 🅧 XRP (@edward_farina) May 10, 2025

Amelie’s theory hinges on the idea that the same team or individuals responsible for Bitcoin’s creation might have also played a key role in developing XRP. The implication is that Schwartz’s immediate transition from Bitcoin’s apparent conclusion to XRP’s inception might be more than just a coincidence.

Could Schwartz Be Part of the Bitcoin Founding Team?

David Schwartz’s credentials certainly make him a compelling candidate. As a seasoned cryptographer, Schwartz has worked on various innovative projects long before Ripple. His technical expertise and early involvement in blockchain technology add a layer of plausibility to the theory. However, Schwartz has consistently denied any direct involvement in Bitcoin’s creation, maintaining that his focus has always been building scalable and efficient payment systems, such as the XRP Ledger.

Critics of Amelie’s claim argue that while the timing is interesting, it is hardly conclusive. Correlation does not equal causation, and without concrete evidence linking Schwartz to Satoshi’s identity, the theory remains speculative. Nevertheless, the debate highlights the enduring mystery surrounding Nakamoto’s true identity, a question that has fueled countless theories within the crypto space.

Community Reactions and Expert Opinions

Amelie’s post quickly gained traction, with the XRP community expressing intrigue and skepticism. Some supporters find the idea plausible, given Schwartz’s technical background and the apparent timeline overlap. Others, however, caution against making definitive assumptions based on circumstantial evidence.

Blockchain historian and analyst Eric D., who has extensively studied Bitcoin’s origins, weighed in on the debate. He emphasized that although Schwartz’s involvement would be notable, there’s no concrete evidence linking him directly to Nakamoto’s inner circle.. Moreover, Bitcoin’s early development involved numerous contributors, many of whom remained anonymous or pseudonymous.

Why the Claim Matters

Speculation around Satoshi Nakamoto’s identity is nothing new, but Amelie’s claim is noteworthy because it connects two of the most influential blockchain projects — Bitcoin and XRP. If Schwartz were proven involved in Bitcoin’s creation, it could reshape perceptions of both assets and their intertwined histories. It would also prompt a reevaluation of Ripple’s role within the broader blockchain narrative.

However, the lack of concrete evidence means that, for now, this claim remains speculative. As long as Nakamoto’s identity remains unknown, theories like Amelie’s will continue to captivate the crypto community. Whether this new angle will lead to deeper investigations or fade into the background remains to be seen.

Amelie’s assertion that David Schwartz may have been part of the original Bitcoin development team adds a fascinating twist to the ongoing saga of Satoshi Nakamoto’s identity. While the timing of Schwartz’s involvement with the XRP Ledger following Satoshi’s departure from the Bitcoin scene is intriguing, concrete proof is still lacking. For now, the crypto community can only speculate and continue to debate one of blockchain’s greatest mysteries.

In a recent social media post, Edward Farina, the CEO of Alpha Lions Academy and a prominent voice in the digital asset space, offered a speculative scenario on the potential market reaction if the identity of Bitcoin’s pseudonymous creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, were to be revealed.

The tweet included an image showing two contrasting candlestick charts. A big red candlestick stands beside the Bitcoin logo, suggesting a significant crash.

On the right, a large green candlestick and the XRP logo illustrated a bullish rally for XRP. At the center of the graphic stood a hooded figure with the label “SATOSHI’S IDENTITY REVEALED,” symbolizing the trigger for this hypothetical market disruption.

This is what happens when Satoshi’s identity is revealed.$XRP
BTC pic.twitter.com/oMBZLsnP1c

— EDO FARINA 🅧 XRP (@edward_farina) May 1, 2025

Underlying Assumptions and Intended Message

Farina’s post assumes that the revelation of Satoshi Nakamoto’s identity would lead to a loss of confidence in Bitcoin, presumably due to fears over centralized control, legal exposure, or reputational damage tied to its origins.

In contrast, the tweet implies that XRP, already positioned as a regulatory-compliant and utility-driven digital asset, would benefit from such a shift in sentiment. This portrayal aligns with Farina’s known support for XRP and skepticism toward Bitcoin’s origin story.

The crypto community reacted to the post with a range of views. One user, CryptoScot, noted, “Hardly something to celebrate considering the whole market will follow it,” expressing concern that a collapse in Bitcoin could drag down the broader digital asset market.

This reflects a common belief that Bitcoin’s price movements still influence most other cryptocurrencies due to its dominance in market capitalization and historical leadership in the sector.

Community Weighs in With Mixed Reactions

Another commenter, Ferny, raised doubts about institutional confidence in Bitcoin, writing, “I don’t see how any institutional investment firm could put money into Bitcoin on their client’s behalf when nobody knows supposedly who created it. We all know it was a three letter agency but the rest of the world is ignorant.”

This comment underscores a longstanding concern about Bitcoin’s anonymity and potential geopolitical implications if its creator were revealed to be connected to a government intelligence agency.

We are on twitter, follow us to connect with us :- @TimesTabloid1

Some users dismissed the idea that a revelation about Satoshi’s identity would cause any significant market shift. One pointed out that claims to Nakamoto’s identity have emerged repeatedly over the years, only to be discredited, and suggested that such speculation has become a recurring cycle with little market impact.

In their view, Bitcoin and XRP will likely continue growing regardless of identity disclosures, reinforcing the belief that both assets hold enduring relevance in the evolving crypto ecosystem.

Speculation Highlights Ongoing Debate About Bitcoin’s Origins

The post from Farina does not claim any new information regarding Satoshi Nakamoto’s identity, but hypothetically illustrates what he views as a possible redistribution of investor confidence and capital between Bitcoin and XRP.

His simulation is speculative, yet it highlights a broader sentiment among XRP supporters who believe the asset is structurally and legally better positioned for long-term institutional adoption.

At present, Satoshi Nakamoto remains unidentified, and the market continues to price Bitcoin and XRP according to broader macroeconomic and regulatory factors. However, as Edward Farina’s tweet illustrates, the question of Bitcoin’s origin still lingers in the minds of many and could, in theory, hold influence over the future direction of digital asset markets.

A recent post by crypto influencer Amelie (@_Crypto_Barbie) highlighted an insightful remark from Bitcoin’s creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, regarding Ripple’s unique approach to trust in financial systems.

This comment, made during a 2009 email exchange between Nakamoto and developer Mike Hearn, sheds light on Ripple’s early significance in the blockchain space.

Satoshi Nakamoto’s View on Ripple

The email, dated April 12, 2009, reveals Nakamoto’s recognition of Ripple as a standout system. Hearn shared his excitement about Ripple and what it was building. Nakamoto wrote, “Ripple is interesting in that it’s the only other system that does something with trust besides concentrate it into a central server.”

SATOSHI NAKAMOTO, FOUNDER OF BITCOIN IN 2009:

"RIPPLE IS THE ONLY SYSTEM THAT DOES SOMETHING WITH TRUST BESIDES CONCENTRATING IT INTO A CENTRAL SERVER." #XRP THE NUMBER 1 DIGITAL ASSET MADE IN AMERICA! pic.twitter.com/gXxfhk3EnP

— 𝓐𝓶𝓮𝓵𝓲𝓮 (@_Crypto_Barbie) January 24, 2025

This acknowledgment from Bitcoin’s enigmatic creator emphasizes Ripple’s innovative model, which differs from centralized systems by distributing trust across a decentralized network.

Amelie’s post highlights the importance of Nakamoto’s observation, aligning it with XRP’s reputation as a groundbreaking digital asset. Nakamoto’s recognition of XRP was also highlighted in a recent list shared by a crypto expert to fight FUD and misinformation from Bitcoin maximalists in the XRP ecosystem.

Ripple’s Decentralized Model

Ripple’s core innovation lies in its consensus mechanism, which provides an alternative to centralization while maintaining trust and efficiency. Unlike the Bitcoin proof-of-work model, Ripple relies on validators to ensure transaction accuracy.

This design has drawn comparisons to Nakamoto’s vision for decentralized networks, as Ripple eliminates the need for a single controlling entity.

While some have questioned XRP’s decentralization, Ripple’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) David Schwartz continues to counter this claim. He once described it as incredibly stupid. This recognition further solidifies XRP’s decentralized nature.

We are on twitter, follow us to connect with us :- @TimesTabloid1

Nakamoto’s acknowledgment of Ripple’s decentralized trust model also suggests its potential to coexist alongside Bitcoin, offering complementary use cases. Ripple’s primary focus on cross-border payments and institutional adoption has further differentiated it in the cryptocurrency space.

XRP’s Growing Relevance

Amelie’s post highlights growing enthusiasm within the XRP community for the asset’s unique attributes. The efforts of Ripple and XRP to comply with regulations both in the U.S. and abroad, the digital asset’s energy efficiency, and strategic partnerships strengthen its standing in the crypto ecosystem.

As highlighted by Amelie, Nakamoto’s recognition of Ripple’s distinct model reaffirms its relevance in the decentralized financial landscape. Ripple has positioned itself as a transformative force in the crypto industry, by addressing trust without relying on centralization. According to Amelie, this has made XRP the number one made-in-America digital asset.

Edo Farina, CEO of Alpha Lions Academy, recently claimed that the same entities behind Bitcoin (BTC) also created XRP. His assertions have sparked significant debate, as they challenge widely accepted narratives about the origins of these digital assets.

Farina specifically attributes the creation of Bitcoin to the National Security Agency (NSA) and asserts that XRP represents a more refined evolution of blockchain technology. Below, we examine his key points.

The creators of BTC also created $XRP.

The CIA & NSA deployed BTC to prevent foreign powers from developing similar tech that would dominate digital payments, and make billions.

“Satoshi Nakamoto” is an organization. pic.twitter.com/rxtIWN1HZE

— EDO FARINA 🅧 XRP (@edward_farina) December 26, 2024

Bitcoin’s Alleged Government Origins

Farina argues that Bitcoin was created by the NSA as a “beta test coin”. According to his theory, the pseudonymous “Satoshi Nakamoto” is not an individual but rather an organization linked to intelligence agencies.

Farina posits that the major reason for creating Bitcoin was to monitor and control global financial transactions, serving as a precursor to central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).

He also highlights Bitcoin’s limitations as a functional currency, emphasizing issues such as high fees, slow transaction speeds, and the reliance on secondary solutions like the Lightning Network to facilitate smaller transactions. Farina concludes that these shortcomings render Bitcoin unsuitable for widespread financial adoption, particularly for CBDCs.

XRP as Bitcoin 2.0

Farina claims that XRP was designed to address Bitcoin’s inefficiencies, describing it as “Bitcoin 2.0.” He credits XRP’s co-creators—David Schwartz, Jed McCaleb, and Arthur Brito—with building a more practical and scalable blockchain solution. Farina highlights XRP’s speed, low transaction costs, and ability to handle large-scale financial transactions as key advantages over Bitcoin.

He further argues that XRP is uniquely positioned to become the backbone of the global financial system, particularly in the context of CBDCs. Farina asserts that XRP’s regulatory compliance and technical capabilities make it the only digital asset capable of dethroning Bitcoin and facilitating instant, large-scale value transfers.

Implications for the Financial System

Farina suggests that blockchain technology, including Bitcoin and XRP, is fundamentally aimed at enabling CBDCs. He dismisses the notion that Bitcoin was created to undermine traditional financial systems, framing it instead as a government-controlled experiment.

In his view, XRP and similar assets represent the “final product” intended to integrate seamlessly into a revamped global financial system.

Farina also stresses the importance of early adoption. He advises individuals to invest in XRP and other promising digital assets, positioning them as key components of the future financial landscape.

He predicts that XRP holders will benefit from opportunities such as lending their holdings to financial institutions and earning yields without selling their assets.

Controversial Assertions and Public Reaction

Farina’s claims have drawn criticism and skepticism from many within the cryptocurrency community. While the idea of government involvement in Bitcoin’s creation has been discussed in conspiracy theories, there is no concrete evidence for this narrative.

While XRP’s capabilities are well-documented, the assertion that it was designed by the same people behind Bitcoin lacks credibility.

Farina’s assertions raise important questions about the transparency and governance of blockchain technologies. Regardless of whether his claims hold merit, they underscore the need for continued scrutiny and debate within the cryptocurrency space.

Recent developments have reignited discussions about the true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, the enigmatic figure behind Bitcoin, the first cryptocurrency.

David Schwartz, the Chief Technology Officer at Ripple, and a key architect of the XRP Ledger (XRPL), has weighed in on the ongoing debate, offering insights into his involvement with the early cryptocurrency community.

New Documentary Sparks Fresh Speculation

A recently released HBO documentary, titled “Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery,” has brought renewed attention to questioning Satoshi Nakamoto’s identity.

The documentary debuted on October 8 and features interviews with several prominent figures from Bitcoin’s early days, including Adam Back, Roger Ver, and Samson Mow.

Notably, the documentary’s creator, Cullen Hoback, presents a theory suggesting that Canadian software developer Peter Todd might be the elusive Satoshi Nakamoto.

This claim is based on circumstantial evidence, including posts from early Bitcoin forums. However, Todd has explicitly denied these allegations.

David Schwartz Responds to Involvement Queries

In response to the documentary’s release, an X user questioned Schwartz about his potential connection to the individuals featured in the film.

He asked Schwartz about his involvement because the CTO was absent from the documentary, and the user found that noteworthy. Some in the community also believe Schwartz is Nakamoto, making his absence from the documentary a more puzzling choice.

In his response, Schwartz revealed that he did not get involved with the crypto space until mid-2011, after Bitcoin’s initial launch. “Not really. I didn’t get involved until mid-2011,” Ripple CTO stated.

Addressing Past Rumors

Schwartz’s recent comments came in previous speculations about his potential role in Bitcoin’s creation.

In 2022, when rumors circulated suggesting he might be Satoshi Nakamoto, Schwartz acknowledged that he could do everything Satoshi did and could have been involved in Bitcoin’s invention that he was not, in fact, Satoshi Nakamoto. Interestingly, Schwartz has previously hinted at the possibility of Satoshi being a collective rather than an individual.

The Mystery of Satoshi Nakamoto

The true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto has remained one of the most enduring mysteries in the cryptocurrency world since Bitcoin’s inception in January 2009.

The release of the Bitcoin whitepaper in 2008 and the subsequent launch of the network in 2009 marked the beginning of a revolution in digital finance, yet the creator’s identity remains unknown.

Over the years, numerous publications and individuals have put forth various theories and candidates for Satoshi Nakamoto’s true identity.

While Satoshi Nakamoto has not been heard from since 2011, the importance of this figure extends beyond mere historical curiosity and is still being felt today.

The true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin, remains one of the cryptocurrency world’s most enduring mysteries. Nakamoto’s last known online activity dates back to 2014, leaving a trail of speculation and unconfirmed theories in their wake.

A recent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed by tech entrepreneur and disinformation researcher Dave Troy sought to shed light on this enigma.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) responded by acknowledging the request but ultimately declined to confirm or deny the existence of any records about Satoshi Nakamoto. Notably, the FBI’s response leaves room for interpretation that Satoshi could be “one or more third-party individuals.”

Dissatisfied with this response, Troy intends to appeal the decision in hopes of obtaining any potentially relevant information the FBI might possess. While this information could contribute to identifying Satoshi, it’s not Troy’s primary objective at this stage.

Source: Dave Troy/X

Satoshi’s Identity Reveal Attempt

The lack of concrete evidence has fueled numerous attempts to unveil Satoshi’s identity. Several individuals have stepped forward claiming to be the creator, with Australian computer scientist Craig Wright being the most prominent example.

However, these claims haven’t been substantiated, and the mystery continues to attract outlandish conspiracy theories. Some even allege the involvement of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in Bitcoin’s creation, a notion lacking any credible support.

One of the more credible contenders for the Satoshi mantle was the late computer scientist Hal Finney. A prominent figure in the cypherpunk movement, Finney received the very first Bitcoin transaction in 2009.

He also corresponded with Nakamoto during Bitcoin’s early development. However, recent findings presented by Casa cofounder Jameson Lopp suggest Finney may not have been Satoshi after all.

BlackRock’s ETF Could Surpass Satoshi’s Holdings

Meanwhile, the landscape of Bitcoin ownership is undergoing a significant shift. Analyst Eric Balchunas predicts that BlackRock’s recently launched Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) – IBIT – could surpass the holdings attributed to Satoshi within the next year. This is due to the rapid pace of investments flowing into the fund.

The combined holdings of all U.S. Bitcoin ETFs are already nearing, if not exceeding, the estimated holdings attributed to Satoshi. Furthermore, some experts believe the commonly cited figure of 1.1 million Bitcoins held by Satoshi is likely an overestimation.

The secrecy surrounding Satoshi Nakamoto continues to intrigue the cryptocurrency community. While the FBI’s response provides no clarity, it acknowledges that Satoshi is likely a group of individuals.

As the Bitcoin ecosystem evolves, the true identity of its creator may remain an unsolved puzzle, but efforts to uncover the truth and understand the origins of this digital revolution are far from over.

Edoardo Farina, CEO of Alpha Lions Academy and a prominent figure on X, recently shared some intriguing information, suggesting that Satoshi Nakamoto, the anonymous creator of Bitcoin, allegedly held a substantial amount of XRP.

This information was sourced from a deposition by Ripple Chief Technology Officer (CTO) David Schwartz in the recently concluded XRP lawsuit, and it raises questions about Nakamoto’s involvement with or interest in other cryptocurrencies, particularly XRP.

The Context of Schwartz’s Statement

In his deposition, Schwartz allegedly revealed that Satoshi Nakamoto held an enormous amount of XRP. This claim, if accurate, is significant because Nakamoto is primarily known for creating Bitcoin, the first cryptocurrency, and is often regarded as a figurehead within the Bitcoin community.

The notion that Nakamoto held XRP could challenge long-standing assumptions about Nakamoto’s views on other cryptocurrencies and decentralization.

Farina’s post also called out Bitcoin maximalists, who advocate for Bitcoin as the superior and only legitimate cryptocurrency. Max Keiser, a well-known Bitcoin maximalist predicted in January that XRP would drop to $0.01, and many in the crypto community shared his misinformed view that other cryptocurrencies cannot succeed.

Farina commented on the potential discomfort this revelation might cause among Bitcoin maximalists. The revelation has led to a flurry of discussions online, with some questioning the claim and others speculating on what Nakamoto’s XRP holdings could imply for the broader cryptocurrency landscape.

Analyzing the Potential Implications

If Satoshi Nakamoto did hold a significant amount of XRP, it could suggest a broader interest in the development and success of other blockchain technologies beyond Bitcoin. This would be a notable deviation from the narrative of many maximalists that Nakamoto was solely focused on Bitcoin as the ultimate solution for digital currency.

Nakamoto’s involvement, even indirectly, with XRP could also imply a recognition of the different use cases and technological advancements offered by Ripple’s platform.

We are on twitter, follow us to connect with us :- @TimesTabloid1

On the other hand, this information could merely indicate that Nakamoto was exploring different cryptocurrencies during the early days of blockchain technology, without necessarily endorsing them.

Given the early stage of cryptocurrency development when XRP was introduced, it is plausible that Nakamoto, like many other early adopters, was interested in understanding and experimenting with various blockchain projects that differed from Bitcoin.

However, Satoshi Nakamoto’s views on XRP and his XRP holdings might never be confirmed, as his identity remains unknown. Although some have speculated that David Schwartz is Nakamoto, this has not been confirmed, and others have claimed to be the mysterious Bitcoin creator.
