Crypto strategist Michaël van de Poppe tells his 656,700 Twitter followers that Bitcoin is flashing bullish signals on the weekly chart.

According to the analyst, Bitcoin continues to trade above two crucial technical indicators on the weekly timeframe despite its retreat from the key psychological resistance at $30,000.

“Bitcoin breaks upwards and tests $27,600. Good signs. Weekly timeframe: holding 200 moving average and exponential moving average. I think we’re continuing towards $38,000-$42,000 from here.”

Meanwhile, fellow crypto analyst Kaleo is also bullish on Bitcoin (BTC). The top trader tells his 587,400 Twitter followers that he thinks Bitcoin is setting up for a move to fresh yearly highs en route to $40,000 after managing to reclaim support at around $27,000.

“I’m a fan of this breakdown / reclaim. See this a pretty solid risk/reward long setup for a potential move back to range highs. And yes, $40,000 is still a magnet.”

Pseudonymous trader Bluntz, who is known in the industry for calling the 2018 Bitcoin bottom, also believes that the king crypto’s corrective move from $30,000 is likely over and that BTC appears poised to resume its uptrend.

“Starting to get some nice follow through candles on daily for BTC after Friday’s reversal. If this was a three wave ABC down complete, then new highs are potentially on the table. Sentiment does seem to have flipped down here with many expecting further downside now.”

At the time of filing this report, BTC is trading at $26,856, with a relatively 1% price downtrend in the last 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap.

Ethereum (ETH) on the Cusp for a Record High above $5,000

According to Kaleo, ETH, the native token of the world’s largest smart contracts platform, Ethereum, is on the cusp of overcoming its last line of resistance to record a new all-time high.

Captioning an illustrative chart, Kaleo tweeted “ETH / Ethereum. $5,000+ sooner than you think.”

According to the analyst, in spite of Bitcoin (BTC) resilience, Ethereum against Bitcoin (ETH/BTC) pair still looks bullish.

Kaleo wrote, “Not going to lie, man, alts are responding way better than I expected to Bitcoin>$60,000. Still up in the air for what’ll happen when it’s back in price discovery, but for now – this ETH/BTC chart looks solid.”

Kaleo Is Bullish On Solana (SOL)

The analyst also showcased his bullishness on the smart contracts platform Solana (SOL). According to Kaleo, the digital currency is expected to continue its rally above $300 if its immediate resistance around $200 is breached.

Referring to the CEO of crypto derivatives exchange FTX, Sam Bankman-Fried, who tweeted back in January (when SOL was still priced at $3) that he’s willing to buy all of a crypto trader’s positions back, Kaleo wrote:

“The theme of this bull run has been ‘Don’t fade Sam.’ Really doesn’t look like that’s going to change any time soon.”

The analyst is also bullish on Solana against Bitcoin (SOL/BTC) pair, stating that “The SOL/BTC chart is absolutely insane.”

According to a well-followed crypto trader, Kaleo, Cardano could experience a 604% surge in price in a matter of months, if Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) continue to experience an upside trend.

The analyst pointed out that Cardano (ADA) could break out in a similar fashion to Tron-based digital currency, BitTorent (BTT). He said the cryptocurrency surged relatively 1000% from $0.001 to $0.01 between March and April 2021.

Kaleo tweeted, “In a world where BTC is $100K+ and ETH is $10K+, Cardano pulling a BTT wouldn’t surprise me.”

The top crypto trader is also bullish on Cardano (ADA) against Bitcoin (BTC) and believes it’s about to break a crucial long-term resistance.

Cardano (ADA) Could Record New All-Time High Soon

According to another well-known pseudonymous crypto analyst identified on Twitter as Rekt Capital, flipping $2.30 resistance is crucial for Cardano’s quest to record a new all-time high.

Rekt Capital noted:

“The only major resistance left before a new All-Time Highs is the black level ahead (~$2.30).”

Another Twitter user identified as ‘Fidzcrypto’ has also noted that Cardano (ADA) is showing distinct cup and handle formation on the daily timeframe.

According to Investopedia, the cup and handle pattern is considered a bullish signal, with the right-hand side of the pattern typically experiencing lower trading volume. The pattern’s formation may be as short as seven weeks or as long as 65 weeks.

At the time of writing, Cardano (ADA), which currently occupies the 3rd position in the market, is trading at $2.49, with a relatively 17% price upsurge in the last 24 hours.

In a new interview first reported by Daily Hodl, Kaleo referenced the performance of Ethereum (ETH), the world’s largest smart contracts platform in 2017, when it dipped from a high around $400 to below $200 within a month. He further stated that the digital currency eventually surged to record the $1440 price all-time high of 2018.

Kaleo noted:

“Back in 2017, right around a year after the halving, there was a 70% decline, and everything looked dead. ETH was able to come back and go well above its all-time high. We’re right around that same length of the period of time after. Here (June 2021), a similar type of decline and at the support. There are a lot of things lining up there as far as the high timeframe bullishness is concerned.”

Ethereum (ETH) Would Hit $18,000 by July 2022

Kaleo, in his prediction, puts the price trend of Ethereum (ETH) back in 2017 into consideration. He said the digital token will display a parabolic movement from its high timeframe support straight to a new price all-time high of $18,000, which is a relatively 840% increase from its current price of $1,980.

With the look of things, the top analyst is long-term bullish on Ethereum. However, he said he could still reconsider his stance should the cryptocurrency break below its high timeframe support.

Meanwhile, Kaleo predicted about a month ago that he sees Ethereum (ETH) trading above $10,000 by the end of 2021.

He wrote:

“My predictions for the second half of 2021: – BTC enters 6-figure price discovery – ETH breaks above $10,000 – We see one more major alt season, – More institutional / government adoption – More institutional / government FUD.”
