Shiba Inu (SHIB), the hottest dog-themed token in the market, has continued to gain exposure to prove it’s more than just a meme coin. More and more services have been coming for the adoption of SHIB as a payment option since the beginning of the year.
The new partner of Shiba Inu is XcelTrip, a decentralized flight ticket, and hotel booking platform. The firm recently announced the incorporation of SHIB as a payment option on its decentralized booking platform.
According to the report, XcelTrip users can now book 2.3 million hotels and over 450 airlines and car rentals in more than 70 countries using Shiba Inu (SHIB).
XcelTrip tweeted, “Hey @ShibainuCoin holders, $SHIB is now listed on XcelTrip. Use $SHIB to book your holidays on XCELTRIP.COM. 2.3 million hotels. 450+ airlines.”
By introducing SHIB as a payment method, XcelTrip is now joining the ranks of luxury brands such as Gucci and Tag Heuer, which earlier in May announced the possibility of making purchases with the digital currency.

Considering the latest developments, the continued expansion of Shiba Inu seems to be non-negotiable. More companies are expected to join the bandwagon in the coming days and months.
It should also be noted that Redbull, a popular energy drink brand, seems to be showing interest in a partnership with Shiba Inu. Although there are no details yet, Shytoshi Kusama, a lead SHIB developer, has been teasing the possibility of sealing a deal with Redbull.
