Per a recent update, Yachtzoo announced its collaboration with the world’s largest cryptocurrency payments company, BitPay. Founded in 2011, BitPay reportedly pioneered cryptocurrency payments to help renovate the operations of businesses.

Through this partnership, the leading luxury yacht services provider will support the use of digital currencies for transactions.

Therefore, customers who wish to buy, sell, and/or charter yachts can do so using Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and several top coins and tokens.

By doing so, Yachtzoo will enjoy increased cross-border and limitless patronage as crypto payments are usually fast and require low service fees. BitPay charges 1% to approve transactions and settlements of yacht deals in the company.

In response to the partnership, Darrell Hall, the founding partner of Yachtzoo said, “As a leading yacht brokerage, we are always looking at innovative solutions to enhance our customers’ experience. Our job as a luxury yacht brokerage is to make chartering, selling, or acquiring a yacht as flawless as possible. Our partnership with BitPay is another way we make it as easy as possible for our customers.”

Speaking of the benefits of the partnership to its clients, Yachtzoo added, “When our clients buy and charter a yacht with cryptocurrency through BitPay, they can rest assured that their transactions are not just fast but are also safe. As BitPay is built around bitcoin, transactions are secure from identity theft and chargeback fraud.”

To note, Yachtzoo and BitPay collaboration come shortly after a sister company, SuperYachtsMonaco raised the crypto flag. Meanwhile, the US-based yacht company, Denison Yachting, pioneered the acceptance of cryptocurrencies as a payment method in 2014.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) Adoption Grows

The second-largest dog-themed meme token, Shiba Inu with the ticker SHIB, is among the digital assets supported by Yachtzoo in its latest partnership with BitPay, according to people familiar with the matter.

This adds to the long lineup of firms and businesses that have adopted the Shiba Inu token (SHIB) as a payment method. As Shiba Inu’s adoption and exchange listings grow, the number of on-chain holders of the token has surged accordingly.
