According to Bloomberg Billionaire Index, Elon Musk’s net worth is now standing at $249 billion.
Currently, the billionaire entrepreneur is worth more than the gross domestic product (GDP) of New Zealand and closes on surpassing that of Portugal.
The significant increase in his wealth can be attributed to Tesla’s renewed rally. The shares of the leading electric car manufacturing company hit a new all-time high of $910 on 22nd October 2021.
This new height prompted Morgan Stanley to predict that Elon Musk is on the track to become the first trillionaire in the world, thanks to Tesla and SpaceX.
