Analyst: XRP Could Print $5 Candle In 5 Minutes If CLARITY Act Passes on Sept. 15

Monday’s Senate vote could be the most important moment in XRP’s recent history. Crypto analyst Steph Is Crypto (@Steph_iscrypto) has boldly predicted what will happen if the CLARITY Act clears its cloture vote.

The Prediction

Steph Is Crypto posted that XRP could print a $5 candle in just 5 minutes after the CLARITY Act vote on September 15. The analyst describes the moment as a potential immediate breakout driven entirely by the legislative passage.

XRP currently trades around $1.32. A move to $5 would represent a gain of roughly 280% in a matter of minutes. The chart shared alongside the post shows XRP breaking out of a falling wedge pattern, with a vertical green line projecting a swift rise.

All Eyes on September 15

The CLARITY Act passed the House in July 2025 and cleared the Senate Banking Committee in May. The September 15 vote is a cloture vote requiring a 60-vote supermajority to proceed. All 53 Senate Republicans are committed to voting yes, leaving a 7-vote gap for Democrats.

Senator Cynthia Lummis argues Democrats helped write the legislation and secured more than 115 wins in the text, including a felony bar on fraudsters, $150 million for the CFTC, and a crackdown on platforms like Binance. She says they now have every reason to support it.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has also urged the Senate to advance the bill, warning that failure would send a troubling signal to allies and adversaries about America’s willingness to lead on digital assets.

XRP Army Reacts

Responses to the post reflected a range of expectations. One commenter pushed back on the prediction and warned that chasing a large green candle without waiting for confirmation at the $3.50 resistance level is a mistake.

Another said September 15 is a procedural vote. He argued that while a negative outcome could cause a price dump, a positive outcome will not trigger an immediate upward price move.

One commenter put the probability of the bill passing at 19% and warned that a failed vote could send XRP lower. Another was more direct, predicting the bill would not pass.

What to Watch

The vote takes place Monday at 2 PM. If cloture clears, Senate debate begins. Lummis has been clear that a failed vote pushes meaningful legislation to 2030. For XRP holders watching this vote, the next few days are the most consequential in a long time.
