The Terra Classic community is considering the introduction of a decentralized debit card into the Terra Classic ecosystem. This new idea, put forth by a validator, aims to enhance utility and burns within the LUNC ecosystem. The Proposal: “LUNA Classic Decentralized Debit Card”
A new proposal, known as Proposal 11750, is now open for voting on the Station wallet. The proposal revolves around the introduction of a decentralized debit card to the Terra Classic ecosystem. By enabling users to spend LUNC in supermarkets, coffee shops, and more, there will be increased utility and engagement within the token’s ecosystem.
The proposal lacks specific details regarding the validator’s plan for implementing the debit card for LUNC. However, it suggests that the “Secure LUNA Validator” will utilize its own funds to promote and support the Terra Classic community, particularly by investing in and promoting new validators to enhance the overall experience.

Community Voting and Support
As of now, Proposal 11750 has received over 96% “Yes” votes and under 4% “No” votes. Notable validators such as Garuda Universe and Coinpayu have expressed their support for the proposal during the initial governance voting.
It is worth mentioning that the identity of the validator behind the proposal remains anonymous, leaving the community eager for more information and clarification. However, the overwhelming support indicates that the proposed development is what the community wants.

Terra Classic Developer Prepares for Core Upgrade
In the meantime, the L1 Terra Classic Task Force (L1TF), the developer team behind Terra Classic, is finalizing preparations for the v2.2.0 core upgrade. This upgrade encompasses various advancements, including the cosmos SDK upgrade, the migration to CometBFT for tendermint, IBC-go to v6, and wasmd.
