After a brief pause due to a sudden surge in user activity, Shibarium, the layer-2 scaling solution for Shiba Inu, has successfully resumed its full-scale block production.
While it’s not yet confirmed if the network is fully live, a closer look at the dedicated Shibariumscan blockchain explorer revealed positive signs. The network has begun producing blocks, facilitating successful token transfers, contract calls, and token mints.

Testing the Network with Small BONE Tokens
Many market participants are currently exploring the network’s capabilities by conducting transactions involving BONE tokens, typically ranging from 1 to 10. This indicates that users are cautiously testing the network with smaller token sizes.
Notably, a sizable transaction involving 1,000 BONE tokens was recorded today at 11:53 (UTC), showcasing increased activity. Additionally, transactions ranging between 10 and 50 BONE tokens are continually taking place.
The block production, which recommenced a few hours ago, has remained steady, resulting in the network currently boasting 266,383 blocks. This noteworthy development is accompanied by a surge in transactions, reaching 9,934, and an increase in the number of wallets to 3,415.
BONE Tokens Gradually Reflecting
Investors who previously experienced issues with stuck BONE tokens are finding relief as their balances now show the correct token amounts. Lucie, a marketing team member of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, shared her personal experience, confirming the reflection of her bridged BONE tokens.
Lucie provided evidence by displaying a balance of 10 BONE and encouraged others to verify whether their balances had also been updated. Patience is advised as the network is still in the process of indexing blocks.

Corroborating LUCIE’s revelation, Abirin, a supposed Shiba Inu community member, revealed on the Shibarium Discord server that their BONE tokens, which had been bridged upon the network’s launch, had finally arrived after being stuck for some time.
Showcasing the 10 BONE tokens in the wallet, Abirin noted:
“Well, I’m happy to announce that my test bone that I bridged to Shibarium on launch day has arrived. Things are happening. If you bridged check your wallet. I used MM.”
Continued Caution Required
While the bridged BONE tokens have shown progress and block production has resumed, it is important to note that Shibarium’s status as a live network is yet to be formally confirmed.
The development team behind Shibarium has not released any official statements regarding this matter, and the official Shibarium website remains inaccessible at this time. Investors are advised to proceed with caution and remain patient as the network undergoes further developments.
