LUNC Development Group TerraCVita Set to Launch Terra Classic DEX in 2023

Sequel to the unveiling of their Whitepaper, the independent LUNC development group TerraCVita, disclosed to the community some of the ways they intend to raise development funds as well as give more use cases to the embattled digital asset.

Among the many plans and developments on the sleeves of the TerraCVita group is the onboarding of a decentralized marketplace or exchange powered by Terra Classic (LUNC). Lately, the group launched the Terra Casino project that now contributes to the LUNC supply reduction.

Specifically, the volunteer LUNC development group noted that community members should expect the earlier announced Terra Classic DEX between January 2023 and April 2023, per a Wednesday tweet. As part of their Phase 1 plans, the team intends to also roll out the Terra Classic Hub V1.

To ensure compatibility with the major Cosmwasm versions (v0.16 and v.1.0.0), TerraCVita devs are rewriting over 100 smart contracts to ensure proper functionality for the planned DEX. Part of the update read, “DEX+ is currently on target for early Q1 2023. Over 100 smart contracts are being rewritten to ensure compatibility with cosmwasm 0.16 and v1.0.0.”

In contrast to recent proposals from some members of the Terra Classic community to re-mint some percentages of LUNC burned into the community pool as development funds, the TerraCVita group intends to use the revenues derived from the planned DEX to fund more projects and services instrumental to the growth of the LUNC project.

As earlier reported by TimesTabloid, TerraCVita called the anticipated decentralized exchange a ‘LUNC Furnace’, citing that the DEX would be designed to support the LUNC burning expedition, which has recently encountered a huge setback as Binance, the major LUNC burn supporter plans to decrease its contribution by 50%. This notable change from the leading exchange comes after the Terra Classic community considered re-minting burned LUNC.
