NYSE Connects to XRP Ledger and Stellar Through These Two Transfer Agents

The New York Stock Exchange has signed transfer agent agreements that link its new tokenized securities venue to four blockchain networks.

Crypto researcher SMQKE was direct about what that means: “NYSE connects to XRPL, Stellar, XDC and Algorand through two transfer agents.” In his post on X, SMQKE described the arrangement as “documented,” pointing to the formal, verified nature of the agreements.

NYSE launched an affiliated venue for trading Issuer Sponsored Tokenized Securities and has been building out the partner network to make it operational.

Six transfer agent firms have now signed on. The original two were Securitize (NYSE: SECZ) and tZERO. NYSE has since added Broadridge Financial Solutions (NYSE: BR), Computershare, Equiniti, and Superstate.

Securitize Brings the XRP Ledger

Securitize carries specific weight for the XRP ecosystem. The firm has integrated Ripple’s stablecoin, RLUSD, into its tokenization platform and is integrating with the XRP Ledger to expand access and utility within the XRPL ecosystem, according to Ripple. The partnership extends Securitize’s reach into real-time settlement and programmable liquidity for tokenized assets.

Carlos Domingo, Co-Founder and CEO of Securitize, called the partnership “a major step forward in automating liquidity for tokenized assets.” He added that the firms are “delivering real-time settlement and programmable liquidity across a new class of compliant, on-chain investment products.”

Through its NYSE transfer agent role, Securitize connects the exchange’s tokenized securities venue directly to the XRP Ledger.

tZERO Adds Stellar, XDC, and Algorand

tZERO brings three additional blockchain networks. Its infrastructure supports Stellar, XDC Network, and Algorand.

Stellar is purpose-built for asset issuance and management. XDC Network uses a hybrid public-private architecture designed to meet compliance demands in regulated sectors. Algorand’s Layer-1 framework includes built-in regulatory controls such as asset freezing and clawback, making it suitable for digital securities.

tZERO describes its mission as “bringing compliant tokenization, regulated trading, and settlement to institutions and investors worldwide.”

Four Networks, One Exchange

XRP, XLM, XDC, and ALGO all now hold a connection to the world’s largest stock exchange through these transfer agent partnerships. NYSE’s new venue establishes formal, documented connections with each network.

The tokenized securities market continues to expand. NYSE is positioning itself at the center of it.
