Analyst Warns XRP Holders: This Is the Last Chance Before This Happens

Crypto analyst Zach Humphries is telling XRP holders that time is running out. His latest price analysis carries a clear message: this is the last chance for XRP to hold its footing before a significant move takes shape in either direction.

With XRP down 33% year to date and sitting around $1.24 at the time of recording, Humphries calls this “a big, big, crucial time in the crypto markets.”

$1.20 is the Line

Humphries centers his analysis on $1.20. He describes it as the key support level XRP must hold. If it loses that level on a daily candle close, he warns of meaningful downside risk into the $1.10 to $1.14 range.

He also notes October’s decline came in at roughly 16%, and that XRP fell out of the range his analysis had been tracking. Getting back in requires a reclaim of the $1.28 level.

The Scenarios Humphries is Watching

Humphries lays out three distinct price paths for XRP. The bullish case requires XRP to hold $1.20, reclaim $1.26, and push toward daily closes near $1.30 to $1.32 with stronger volume. That setup could push the price as high as $1.34 in the short term.

The base case has XRP chopping between $1.20 and $1.24, unable to clear the $1.30 zone. Humphries calls this “continued chop and consolidation.” The bearish case triggers if XRP breaks below $1.20.

Elections Enter the Picture

Humphries ties the current price action to the macro environment, specifically midterm elections. He notes that historically, the S&P 500 has averaged 15% returns in the 12 months following midterm elections. He sees this as a tailwind for risk-on assets including crypto.

He also points out that the current weakness is not isolated to XRP. Bitcoin fell to $76,000 and Ethereum to $2,200, with tech equities selling off as well. Humphries describes it as a market-wide reset rather than an XRP-specific problem.

The Long-Term Outlook

Despite the short-term pressure, Humphries remains constructive on the next 12 to 18 months. He says the market is showing “early signs of a bull market,” even if sentiment does not yet reflect that.

He acknowledges XRP behaves differently from other crypto assets. It makes big moves but moves on its own timeline. He sees the current 33% year-to-date decline as a buying opportunity for long-term holders. For traders, $1.20 is the number to watch right now. His bottom line: “XRP looks more like a recovery attempt than a confirmed reversal.”
