Crypto analyst Dark Defender (@DefendDark) has a clear position on XRP. He believes a massive rally is approaching, and the current price decline is the final obstacle before it begins. He wrote in a recent post: “XRP’s Massive Wave 3 will silence the corridors.”
The Setup
Dark Defender’s chart shows XRP completing a Wave 2 correction on the daily timeframe. Wave 2 corrections follow the first impulsive upward move and reset the price before the next advance.
In Elliott Wave theory, what comes after Wave 2 is Wave 3, the strongest and longest wave in any impulse sequence. That is the move Dark Defender is anticipating.
Wave 2 in a nutshell. A bit left to complete this correction.

Where the Correction Stands
The correction has nearly run its course. XRP peaked at the Wave B high near $1.68 after its rally in late August. It has since declined through a five-wave structure. Four of those waves are complete. Only Wave 5 remains, targeting the 38.2% Fibonacci level at $1.2133.
XRP currently trades at $1.2893, roughly 6% above that target. Dark Defender acknowledged the remaining distance in his post: “A bit left to complete this correction.”
Why $1.2133 Is Significant
The 38.2% Fibonacci retracement at $1.2133 is not arbitrary. Fibonacci retracement levels are standard technical tools used to identify where corrections typically exhaust themselves.
A Wave 2 correction finding support at the 38.2% level is a textbook outcome in Elliott Wave analysis. Dark Defender’s chart places this as the asset’s bottom before the structure resolves bullishly.
The chart also marks a secondary level at $1.5692, the 85.40% retracement. This level previously acted as resistance during the Wave 4 bounce and will likely become a reference point again as the price recovers.
The Wave 3 Projection
Once Wave 5 completes and the correction finishes, Dark Defender’s analysis positions XRP for a Wave 3 advance. Wave 3 moves are characterized by strong momentum, high volume, and extended price targets that typically surpass the Wave 1 high.
His chart does not specify an exact price target for Wave 3, but his language leaves little ambiguity about the scale he expects.
The Bottom Line
Dark Defender sees XRP within striking distance of completing a major correction. The decline has a defined structure, a clear target, and a logical endpoint.
What he expects on the other side of that endpoint is a wave that, in his own words, will “silence the corridors.” The current price level is not a concern for him. It is a buying opportunity in progress.
