XRP $26 Low Ball. Here’s How Community Responds

Popular crypto commentator CryptoRover, who has more than one million followers on X, recently shared a long-term XRP price target of $26.09, with a projected timeframe of 5 to 10 years.

The prediction caught the attention of Digital Asset Investor, a well-known voice in the XRP community, who responded with his thoughts in a video posted on X.

Digital Asset Investor did not dismiss the figure. He called it “a major low ball” but still expressed enthusiasm for the number itself. “I still like the price,” he said. His position is that XRP reaches $26 sooner than CryptoRover expects, and potentially climbs much higher beyond that level.

The Community Weighs In

The video drew a range of reactions and opinions from viewers.

Some expressed frustration. Todd Kerr captured a sentiment shared by many long-term holders: “Should be $26 already. And it’s not.” The comment reflects impatience in a community that has watched XRP lag behind its own price expectations for years.

Others took a more grounded view. A commenter named NADZZZ said they would “gladly take the ‘$26 low ball’ right now,” suggesting that even the conservative figure would represent a meaningful gain for current holders.

Not everyone welcomed the optimism without scrutiny. A commenter named MJ pushed back on the timeline entirely, writing that “XRP is at least 5 years away.”

XRP Picasso went further, questioning the basis for the target altogether. “What measurable demand for XRP supports that valuation, and over what timeframe? Show the math behind the target — not just confidence in the number,” Picasso wrote.

A Number Without a Formula

The debate around the $26.09 figure highlights a recurring tension in crypto price discussions. Digital Asset Investor’s confidence in the number is clear. His belief that XRP arrives there faster than predicted, and climbs higher still, reflects his long-standing bullish stance on the asset.

But the pushback from commenters like XRP Picasso points to a gap between conviction and analysis. Price targets circulate widely in the XRP community. The math behind them circulates far less often.

Whether $26.09 turns out to be a ceiling or a floor depends on factors the community continues to debate: adoption, regulation, and the pace of institutional demand for XRP as a settlement asset.

For now, the number sits in the feed. Digital Asset Investor calls it low. Others call it a dream. The market, as always, has the final word.
