Crypto analyst ChartNerd (@ChartNerdTA) recently highlighted something many in the market appeared to have missed.
He noted it was “going over WAY too many heads.” He was referring to a confirmed partnership between Ripple Prime and Securitize.
This partnership places XRP infrastructure at the center of a landmark moment in tokenized capital markets. The official Securitize press release states, “Ripple Prime plans to support the launch of Securitize Stocks and explore opportunities to incorporate the assets into its broader institutional trading ecosystem.”

Securitize Stocks Brings U.S. Equities On-Chain
On October 8, Securitize announced the launch of Securitize Stocks. Crypto researcher SMQKE (@SMQKEDQG) documented the development in full. The platform brings some of the world’s most widely held U.S. equities on-chain for eligible investors in the U.S , the European Union, and other permitted jurisdictions worldwide.
These are real, regulated shares issued directly on-chain and recorded in the issuer’s equity structure. Investors receive full shareholder rights, including dividends and voting privileges.
SMQKE stated that “Ripple Prime is confirmed as a direct supporter of Securitize Stocks at launch” and noted that both entities are integrating with the XRP Ledger.
Ripple Prime’s Role in Institutional Markets
Ripple Prime emerged from Ripple’s acquisition of multi-asset prime brokerage Hidden Road. The combined entity gives U.S.-based institutional clients access to OTC spot transactions across dozens of digital assets, including XRP and RLUSD. It also provides foreign exchange, derivatives, swaps, and fixed income services.
Noel Kimmel, President of Ripple Prime, spoke to the significance of the launch. He stressed that tokenized capital markets require proper issuance, collateral, and liquidity to function at scale. He confirmed Ripple Prime’s commitment to working with partners driving these assets into institutional trading.
Securitize CEO Carlos Domingo described the partnership as delivering “real-time settlement and programmable liquidity across a new class of compliant, on-chain investment products.” Securitize is also integrating with the XRP Ledger to expand access and bring new utility to the XRPL ecosystem, and it has been highlighted as a path for XRP integration into the DTCC.
XRP’s Position in the Tokenized Equity Space
XRP sits at the center of this infrastructure. Securitize Stocks adds another institutional use case to the network, bringing real equities on-chain for global investors.
ChartNerd’s assessment holds up. This development carries genuine significance for XRP’s institutional utility and its long-term position in tokenized capital markets.
