Pundit: If You’re Thinking About Selling Your XRP, Watch This Ripple CEO’s Explanation

Evernorth rang the Nasdaq closing bell at Times Square in New York. The company is listed under the ticker symbol XRPN as a digital asset treasury company built around XRP.

Crypto commentator X Finance Bull shared a video of Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse speaking at the event and added his own analysis of what the structure signals for XRP.

Buy and Hold Is Just the Starting Point

Garlinghouse spoke about on-chain capabilities and institutional products at the ceremony. “The ability to leverage even some of the on-chain capabilities to leverage yield and build more of the institutional products that can actually drive more than just a buy and hold,” he said.

He called buy-and-hold access alone “a major step” but made clear Evernorth is building toward something more active. He told attendees to expect “interesting leverage and yield opportunities, some on-chain, some off-chain, that will be unique and differentiated”. He said those opportunities position XRP “to perform really well.”

What X Finance Bull Says the Structure Actually Does

X Finance Bull argued the model is designed to convert traditional capital into underlying XRP demand. Evernorth already holds roughly 473M XRP and named Ripple, Kraken, Coinbase and BitGo as its first institutional execution partners, with deployment expected in Q4 2026.

The XRPN listing gives asset managers, hedge funds, family offices and equity funds a Nasdaq-listed entry point. They get XRP exposure without managing wallets or custody directly. X Finance Bull notes that Evernorth can then raise capital, deploy XRP, earn from the treasury, and reinvest those earnings into more XRP.

Citigroup Global Markets served as sole private placement agent. The investor group includes SBI Holdings, Pantera Capital, Arrington Capital, GSR, Kraken and Ripple. NH Investment & Securities participated in a $30M convertible-note financing supporting XRP acquisition and ecosystem activity.

XRP Per Share and the Treasury Growth Model

X Finance Bull highlights one metric he believes could become significant: XRP per share. Starting from 473M XRP, a hypothetical 1% annual increase adds 4.73M XRP. At 3%, that rises to 14.19M XRP. At 5%, it reaches 23.65M XRP. If Evernorth grows its XRP holdings faster than its share count, each XRPN share represents more XRP over time.

He also points to XRPL’s developing XLS-65 Single Asset Vaults and XLS-66 Lending Protocol as key infrastructure. As of October 15, SingleAssetVault had 21 of 35 supporting validator votes, and LendingProtocol had 19 of 35.

Institutions Putting XRP to Work

X Finance Bull’s core message is that Garlinghouse’s message is about more than access. It is about institutions deploying XRP productively through lending, liquidity, yield, and credit markets. That, he argues, is what could change how Wall Street looks at XRP.
