473 Million XRP Just Hit Wall Street. Here’s What Is Coming

Today marks a significant milestone for XRP. Evernorth Holdings, the largest pure-play XRP treasury company in existence, begins trading on Nasdaq under the ticker XRPN. The company enters public markets carrying approximately 473 million XRP tokens and $300 million in cash.

Crypto commentator Levi Rietveld of Crypto Crusaders captured the moment, writing on X, “473M XRP HITS WALL STREET!”

Details of Evernorth

Evernorth is not a passive holding vehicle. The company actively manages its XRP position through institutional lending and DeFi deployment. Yields generated from those strategies then get reinvested into additional XRP purchases.

SBI Group, one of Japan’s largest financial institutions, confirmed this active strategy directly in its own reporting after committing $200 million to Evernorth through a Private Investment in Public Equity. Ripple, Kraken, Pantera Capital, and Arrington Capital also backed the company.

Evernorth operates as a regulated treasury vehicle. Investors gain XRP exposure through a standard brokerage account without complications. That accessibility is a core part of its value to the market.

How We Got Here

Evernorth began its path to Nasdaq through a SPAC merger with Armada Acquisition Corp. II. Shareholders approved the deal on September 30. The SEC had already declared Evernorth’s Form S-4 registration statement effective in August. The merger was originally set to close on October 7, with trading beginning October 8.

A brief administrative delay pushed the closing to October 9 and the trading debut to today, October 12. The company confirmed the delay had no impact on the transaction.

Why This Is Good for XRP

Rietveld made his position clear in his video. “Big institutional money is coming through the front door,” he said, “and that’s not something that you see every single day.” He added, “The whole ecosystem is going to benefit from this a lot.”

Evernorth holds nearly 0.5% of all XRP in existence. Its active treasury strategy keeps that capital working. Institutional lending and DeFi participation generate yield, and that yield feeds back into XRP purchases. The buying pressure that creates is real and ongoing.

Beyond price mechanics, the listing itself changes XRP’s profile. A Nasdaq-listed company holding 473 million XRP gives institutional investors a regulated, familiar entry point. That expands the pool of capital that can reach XRP without touching crypto infrastructure directly.

The Launch

XRPN begins trading today on Nasdaq. Evernorth enters public markets as the largest publicly traded pure-play XRP treasury in existence. The combination of its scale, its active management strategy, and its institutional backing gives XRP a new and permanent presence on Wall Street.
