The Shiba Inu community’s initiative to burn a huge percentage of SHIB tokens in order to drastically reduce its circulating supply continues to make progress.
On a monthly basis, billions of SHIB tokens are being sent to dead wallets through different community strategies and this shows no sign of slowing down due to the yearly target they have set for themselves.
According to the latest data released by Shibburn, the tracker of all transactions sent to the inferno wallets, a total of 4.7 billion SHIB tokens were permanently removed from Shiba Inu’s circulating supply. While 1.1 billion tokens were destroyed in seven days and 216.4 million tokens were burned in the last hour.
