XRP traded below $1.10 for weeks, and most traders have written off any near-term recovery. However, Crypto analyst Steph Is Crypto disagrees. His new video explains that the current price zone matches the exact setup that preceded two of XRP’s largest bull runs.
Steph pointed to a downward trend line on the weekly XRP chart that stretches back to 2020. He said XRP touched this line twice before, first in 2020 and again in 2024, and both touches triggered sharp price drops. He then flipped the chart.
When inverted, he said, those drops actually mark the starting points of major bull markets. XRP sits on that same trend line again, with the analyst noting the asset trades “around a dollar.”

The Gaussian Channel Signal
Steph shifted to the two-week chart and applied a Gaussian channel indicator. He explained that price trading above the channel signals strong bullish momentum, while drops below it have historically marked bear market bottoms. He cited two prior examples.
In 2017, XRP dipped below the channel briefly before the bull run began. In 2020, price stayed below the channel for 28 days before reversing higher. Steph said XRP has now traded below the Gaussian channel for 28 days, matching the 2020 timeline.
Gold-Denominated Chart Adds Support
Steph presented a third chart, XRP valued against gold rather than the US dollar. He said the same 2020 trend line applies here too, and every prior bull run started from that exact line. He said XRP sits on that trend line again at the time of recording.
Analyst’s Conclusion
Combining all three charts, Steph said there is a high probability that XRP’s bear market bottom has already formed or sits close by. He did not rule out further downside, saying XRP could still fall another 10% to 20% from current levels.

But he described the current zone as the region where investors should build interest in XRP, rather than during periods of high euphoria. He said buyers should act during “blood, fear and depression” rather than waiting for strength to return.
Steph’s analysis rests on historical pattern repetition rather than confirmed reversal signals. He acknowledged that further downside remains possible even if his broader thesis plays out. Traders watching XRP’s price action will need confirmation beyond chart history before drawing firm conclusions about a bottom.
