We Asked Google Bard If XRP Will Still Be In Existence in 2050

The Future Of Ripple Labs

Google Bard spotlighted the ongoing lawsuit between Ripple Labs and the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), adding that the conclusion of the legal dispute will determine XRP’s longevity.

Bard said, “Ripple Labs, the company behind XRP, is currently facing legal challenges from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The outcome of these challenges could significantly impact the future of both the company and XRP.”

XRP Adoption

XRP’s adoption rate was another important aspect highlighted by the AI model. According to Bard, for XRP to remain relevant, it must be adopted by reputable financial outlets and used for payments on a global scale. 

The chatbot noted that the higher the rate of achieving the above feat, the greater the chances of XRP remaining in existence till 2050 and beyond.

Technological Advancements

In a rapidly evolving digitalized world, technological advancements will never cease to emerge, as companies will do everything to outperform one another. 

Describing how technological advancement could play significant roles in XRP’s future, Bard remarked, “The financial technology landscape is constantly evolving. New technologies could emerge that render XRP obsolete or irrelevant.”

The above implies those in charge of XRP’s technological innovation must work to ensure that the crypto asset is ahead of most competitors in technological advancements.

Regulatory Changes

Like the protracted lawsuit between Ripple and the U.S. SEC, the chatbot reckoned that other regulatory problems that could impact XRP’s future could emerge.
