These Five Businesses Involved In Burning 604 Million Shiba Inu (SHIB) in January

It’s worth noting that five businesses (Brick Buster, Shiboshi NFT, bigger entertainment, Shibburn, and ShibaSearch) were involved in burning a total of 604 million SHIB in January 2022.

It can be recalled that the official Twitter handle of Shibburn reported that over 1.32 billion SHIB tokens were permanently removed from Shiba Inu’s circulating supply with 293 transactions in January.

Five Companies Involved in Burning 463.3 Million SHIB in January

According to on-chain data, the most significant burn was initiated by Brick Buster, the game available to play on Google Play Store. The game was able to burn 232 million SHIB tokens in January 2022.

The collective Shiboshi NFT contributes the second biggest burn, i.e., over 109 million tokens were burned through name changes with 58 transactions. While Bigger Entertainment came third with 103 million SHIB tokens burned.

Aside from the companies mentioned above, Shibburn tracker and ShibaSearch have also burned 100 million and 60 million SHIB tokens respectively.

Shiba Coffee Company Burned 19.8 Million SHIB

In a tweet on 1st February, Shiba Coffee Company released the total number of SHIB tokens it burned in January 2022.

In the report, the Coffee Company stated that they were able to burn a total of 19.8 million SHIB tokens with the help of the teeming Shiba Inu community members.

In the tweet, the Coffee Company also included the link and screenshot of the burn transactions to serve as proof.

Shiba Coffee Company tweeted, “January burn complete of 19.8 million $SHIB! This wouldn’t be possible without all of you! Check below for Etherscan proof, and come back later for a full blog post writeup about everything that went on @ShibaCoffeeCo in January!”

Shiba Coffee Company is situated in the United States and working on a unique model to destroy SHIB tokens. The model explicitly targets Coffee lovers. The company believes that SHIB will continue to burn as coffee lovers drink.

According to the firm, 100% of the earned profit is used to purchase Shiba Inu (SHIB) token and hold it for life. Out of which 10% is sent to Ethereum’s Vitalik Buterin burn wallet.
