In a Monday tweet, BitPay reminded crypto Twitter that Hublot, the creator of top-notch watches with a combination of tradition and innovation supports luxury watch purchases with cryptocurrencies. 

Part of the announcement post said; “Legendary watchmaker Hublot, known for unique and daring timepieces, announced it will accept cryptocurrency through its online eBoutique. Many of its iconic timepieces, including the newly released Big Bang Unico Essential Grey, are available online for purchase and can be bought via cryptocurrency.”

Notably, the leader in blockchain payments, Bitpay supports about 34 cryptos including Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), and Cardano (ADA) among others.

Users can either pay directly from their crypto wallets on the TAG Heuer online boutique or use the BitPay Card to buy watches online or at any authorized dealer that accepts Mastercard, according to the announcement.

The cryptocurrencies used by BitPay to process payments include Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Dogecoin (DOGE), USD Coin (USDC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Dai (DAI), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), Gemini Dollar (GUSD), Pax Dollar (USDP), Binance USD (BUSD), and Ripple (XRP).

Swiss luxury watchmaker, TAG Heuer, decided to incorporate crypto payment after a significant increase in demand for crypto payments among its customers.

According to the luxury brand, customers that reside in the United States could spend as much as $10,000 of equivalent USD value in crypto. The report also says there is no minimum limit set for the purchase.

Reacting to the new development, the CEO of TAG Heuer, said:

“As a luxury brand, we had to ensure that our entrance into Web3 would meet our standards of excellence, and thanks to our nimble teams in-house and with the support of BitPay we are able to dive into this new financial world in the best way possible.”

BitPay Keeps Giving Shiba Inu (SHIB) the Much-Needed Exposure
