A Popular US-Based Fitness Company Just Adopted Payments Using Shiba Inu (SHIB) via BitPay

Equinox Group, a popular US-based fitness company, has recently announced the adoption of payments in cryptocurrency for its services.

According to the company in a recent blog post on its official website titled “New York: Pay With Crypto”, a partnership has been sealed with the famous crypto payment processor, BitPay, to facilitate the crypto payment option. This indicates that the hottest meme token has been automatically adopted by Equinox Group.

Other cryptocurrencies listed on BitPay, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), and 5 USD-pegged stablecoins (BUSD, DAI, GUSD, USDP, and USDC), are also available as payment options for the fitness company.

How to Make Payments on Equinox Using BitPay

According to the report, prior to checking out on crypto.equinox.com, customers must obtain a pre-approved BitPay ID. This can be obtained by visiting Bitpay.com.

In the announcement, it’s added that BitPay will be the only payment option for checkout during the payment section of the checkout select.

The report says further:

“Once you are in the BitPay payment window, the exchange rate for cryptocurrency to U.S. dollars is locked for 15 minutes.

“Equinox and BitPay are not responsible for any exchange rate changes when payment is not completed within the initial 15-minute period or in connection with any refund permitted by the terms of your Equinox membership agreement.

“Any such refund will be made solely in U.S. dollars equal to the original U.S. dollar value of your payment. Refunds will be issued via check mailed to your address of record.”
