Through this new development, businesses in the country will gain access to Airwallex’s global payment services, which serve as a perfect alternative to conventional banks.

Ripple Confirms Partnership with the UK-Based Lotus

A couple of days ago, Lotus, the British performance car manufacturer, announced its partnership with Ripple, the US-based cross-border payment firm.

Lotus tweeted, “We are launching NFTs! We have partnered with industry expert NFT PRO and Ripple to create an exclusive community of automotive enthusiasts, collectors and crypto-fans.”

The development was later confirmed officially by the blockchain payment firm via a tweet about two days ago.

Captioning Lotus’s announcement about two days ago, Ripple wrote, “We’re excited to partner with Lotus to help bring automotive NFTs to the XRPL.”

To launch its non-fungible token (NFT) Collection, Lotus will work with NFT PRO and its blockchain partner Ripple to offer technical support on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) network.

Commenting on the new development, Simon Lane, Director of Lotus Advanced Performance, said:

“Lotus has always been about cutting-edge innovation, and entering the Web3 space in this way, with a truly customer-focused NFT programme, is another excellent example of that. Lotus Cars, a UK-based automobile company is set to jump on the non-fungible token (NFT) trend with Ripple as a blockchain partner. In collaboration with an industry expert NFT PRO, the company plans to release its debut automotive NFT collection on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), at an undisclosed date.

The iconic car company recently created the Lotus Advanced Programme sub-division, tasked with delivering fascinating bespoke vehicles and top-class customer experiences. Interestingly, this division of the company has made non-fungible tokens (NFTs) its newest innovative project.
