In recent weeks, the Shiba Inu community has come under attack by scammers. Reports of malicious emails and fraudulent websites targeting users have increased, exposing investors to potential losses.
The Shibarmy Scam Alerts channel has sounded a new alert, urging community members to remain vigilant and take immediate measures to safeguard their assets.

Scammers have cunningly impersonated Shiba Inu team members by sending deceptive emails to unsuspecting users. These fraudulent emails often contain links to counterfeit websites or phishing scams, designed to make SHIB holders reveal their sensitive information.
To protect themselves, users are strongly advised not to click on links from unfamiliar senders. In the event of receiving an email claiming to be from the Shiba Inu team, it is crucial to directly contact the team using a verified communication method in order to verify the legitimacy of the email.
Unfortunately, scammers have not limited their endeavors to targeting individual users alone. Recently, hackers have set their sights on exchanges that list Shiba Inu (SHIB). In a brazen attempt, scammers offered Poloniex, a renowned exchange, a whopping $160,000 to list a non-existent “Fantom Chain” version of SHIB.
This audacious scam attempt underscores the extent to which scammers are going to exploit the popularity of Shiba Inu for their own illicit gain.
Sounding the alarm, Shiba Inu community admin RagnarShib has also issued a warning about the prevalence of scams. He emphasized that Shiba Inu does not have any affiliation with a Fantom Chain version, and furthermore, there is no official LinkedIn account associated with the project. RagnarShib seeks to ensure the community remains well-informed and vigilant against fraudulent schemes.

Taking swift action against this onslaught of scams, the Shiba Inu team is fighting back. The team has introduced a dedicated channel called Susbarium, specifically designed to identify and combat diverse cryptocurrency scams.
Susbarium has taken significant measures to enhance user safety, actively educating the community about the five predominant ways hackers attempt to pilfer assets, including SHIB, LEASH, and BONE.
In conclusion, the Shiba Inu community finds itself at the center of a relentless scam attack. Users must remain cautious and implement stringent protective measures to safeguard their assets from scammers.
It is imperative to resist the temptation of clicking on links from unknown senders, while also exercising due diligence to confirm the authenticity of any communication purportedly originating from the Shiba Inu team.
