Localcoin, headquartered in Toronto, Canada, has also been steadily increasing its footprint in Australia. Late last year, the company could only boast 52 ATMs in the country, but an ambitious effort to expand its network has paid off significantly.
Localcoin has demonstrably exceeded its initial target of 120 machines, now offering Shiba Inu purchases at 166 ATMs throughout Australia. This geographical spread includes 11 ATMs in the Australian Capital Territory, 64 in New South Wales, 20 in Queensland, 5 in South Australia, 44 in Victoria, and 22 in Western Australia.
With high expectations for a SHIB surge, increasing accessibility is a smart move on Localcoin’s part. For Australian residents interested in purchasing SHIB with cash, Localcoin ATMs provide a convenient solution. Here’s a breakdown of the process:
Download a Compatible Wallet: The first step involves acquiring a digital wallet that supports Shiba Inu. Ensure your chosen wallet has an integrated QR code function, as this will be necessary during the ATM transaction.
Locate a Localcoin ATM: You can use Localcoin’s ATM locator tool to find the closest machine. This user-friendly feature simplifies the search process. After locating the machine, you can touch the screen to initiate the transaction.
Perform the Transaction: After initiating the transaction, a menu will appear, allowing you to select SHIB from the list of supported cryptocurrencies. After that, allow the machine to scan your wallet’s QR code. Once the ATM successfully scans your QR code, input the desired amount of SHIB you wish to purchase. Localcoin ATMs charge a service fee per transaction, which will be displayed on the screen before confirmation. After reviewing the transaction details, proceed with the purchase if everything is accurate. Your SHIB will be sent directly to your wallet when the transaction is complete.
