It was announced a few days ago that Shiba Inu sealed a partnership with a designer wear maker, John Richmond, indicating SHIB’s foray into the fashion industry.
The designer clothing brand based in Italy will conduct fashion shows in Milan, where Shiba Inu (SHIB) is expected to gain massive exposure.
It’s also reported that Shiba Inu smart contracts have surged over 600%.
10,000 NFTs to Be Issued
As part of the partnership, John Richmond and Shiba Inu (SHIB) will soon jointly issue 10,000 non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
The long-anticipated partnership was sealed on the last day of Italy’s fashion week and the day that marks the first day of the Paris Fashion Week, making the corporation more significant.
Shiba Inu, a notable stakeholder in the blockchain-enabled ecosystem, plans to debut a fashion line based on NFTs later this year.
AMC Theaters to Soon Support Shiba Inu (SHIB) via Bitpay
On 28th February, Adam Aron, CEO of AMC Theaters, announced the actual dates to expect the incorporation of Shiba Inu (SHIB) on the firm’s website and mobile app.
According to Aron in a viral tweet, BitPay services will be activated for AMC online payment on the official website on 19th March 2022, while that of the mobile app will be live on or before 19th April 2022.
The update implies that users of AMC Theaters will be able to make payments using Shiba Inu (SHIB) via the crypto payments service, BitPay, on which the cryptocurrency has been listed.
Adam Aron announced, “This might rev up the Cryptocurrency fans amongst you. AMC IT says that BitPay will be live for AMC online payments on our website by March 19, and live on our mobile apps by April 16. Possibly a few days earlier. BitPay, and therefore soon AMC, accepts Doge Coin and Shiba Inu.”
Shiba Inu Smart Contracts Surges Over 600%
According to statistics, the use of the Shiba Inu smart contracts from ‘whale-tier addresses’ on the Ethereum network has surged by at least 600%, implying that whale addresses are more actively interacting with the cryptocurrency.
It’s also unclear whether it is carried out by a single contract or by a group of contracts.
