Shiba Collectible Card Game (CCG) Name Finally Revealed as Shiba Inu Enters its 3rd Year

The Shiba Inu team has finally disclosed the name of the much-anticipated Shiba Collectible Card Game (CCG) after months of building. On Monday, the decentralized token project, SHIB, marked its second year in existence.

On the occasion of Shibaswap’s one-year commemoration, Shytoshi Kusama, a lead developer in the Shiba Inu ecosystem included the Shiba Collectible Card Game as one of the top projects to be rolled out in 2022. 

However, limited details were disclosed by the developer about the game at the time while mentioning PlaySide Studios as the game developer.  Founded in 2011, PlaySide claims to be the largest independent games studio having its base in Australia.

Shiba Eternity is Here

According to a Tuesday Twitter post by the SHIB token official account, the highly-anticipated Shiba Collectible Card Game will be called Shiba Eternity. 

The announcement added that Team Shiba Inu together with PlaySide Studios is on course to make the game ready for playing this year. Meanwhile, it is said that the game will be available for both Android and iOS users. 

“We are proud to reveal the name of the Shib CCG game, Shiba Eternity™!  We are working alongside PlaySide Studios on a testing schedule and exciting release! The game will be available in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Game on Shib Army with Shiba Eternity,” the Twitter post said. 

On the whole, the launch of the Shiba Inu-powered game edges closer as significant progress is being seen in this regard. Last month,  Exo Viewer, which displays NFTs in a three-dimensional (3D) environment partnered with Shiba Inu. The goal is to display Shiboshis from the upcoming Shiba Eternity game in 3D.

Notably, the popular meme token project, Shiba Inu turned two years old on August 2. During this period, numerous achievements have been recorded by the project with the help of its strong and responsive community. Interestingly, the team is working hard to enlarge its ecosystem through the onboarding of more valuable projects like Shiba Eternity and Shibarium.
