As the legal battle between Ripple and the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) continues to linger, rumors have been circulating that the two parties recently met twice and a new end date for the XRP lawsuit has been set.
This was recently hinted at by Mr. Huber, a prominent XRP influencer, stating that it’s being rumored that the judgment will be delivered after Judge Torres’ summer vacation in 2024.

Recall that the SEC has accused Ripple of selling unregistered securities in the form of digital assets known as XRP. In response, Ripple has denied the accusations and has been fighting the SEC in court since December 2020.
Now, Mr. Huber has hinted that Ripple’s case against the SEC is expected to be concluded by 2024. The XRP influencer also indicated that the unidentified source of the whole information also revealed that both SEC and Ripple’s officials met twice
The news comes as a welcome relief to XRP investors, who have been waiting for a resolution to this case for months. It is also a sign of hope for the entire cryptocurrency industry, as a favorable ruling for Ripple could open the door for more regulatory clarity in the crypto space.
Meanwhile, Mr. Huber didn’t mention the reason behind the meeting, especially whether both representatives met to discuss the terms of a possible settlement.
The prediction by James K. Filan for the case to come to an end on March 31st also didn’t materialize. Things didn’t go as planned when Deaton also predicted that Judge Torres would issue the judgment on the 6th or May 2023.
