Pundit Urges XRP Holders to Watch This Carefully

The growth of tokenized finance could create a major liquidity challenge for the financial system, even as more institutions move assets and payments onto digital networks.

Crypto commentator X Finance Bull says this development could strengthen XRP’s role as a bridge between different forms of digital money, assets and currencies.

In a recent tweet, X Finance Bull focused on comments from Darko Hajdukovic of the London Stock Exchange that appeared in a video from TokenizedPod. Hajdukovic discussed the need to address the cash side of transactions as stablecoins and tokenized assets expand.

London Stock Exchange Executive Focuses On Settlement

Hajdukovic said financial markets need to consider “the cash leg of transactions and payments” as stablecoins develop. He also discussed programmable payments and programmable settlement.

He said, “not everything has to be prepaid,” while emphasizing the importance of programmable payment and settlement systems. He also described the cash leg as an important part of that process.

Simon Taylor then discussed how different institutions can view the same stablecoin differently. He explained that its usefulness depends on the institution using it and its specific business objective.

Taylor gave examples involving tokenized deposits, clearing, 24/7 payments and international transfers. His comments support the idea that financial institutions may use different forms of digital money for different purposes.

X Finance Bull connected these comments to XRP and Ripple’s existing products and infrastructure.

X Finance Bull Links RLUSD And XRP To The Model

X Finance Bull pointed to RLUSD as Ripple’s regulated digital-dollar product. He described it as a potential cash leg for delivery-versus-payment transactions.

He also pointed to the XRP Ledger as a network where tokenized assets can be issued, traded, and settled. XRP, meanwhile, can provide liquidity within the XRPL ecosystem.

The commentator argued that this setup could become more important as institutions introduce more tokenized currencies and financial assets. He gave a potential route involving RLUSD, XRP and MXNB, Mexico’s digital peso stablecoin.

He also referenced Bitso’s work bringing MXNB onto the XRP Ledger for the U.S.-Mexico corridor.

Tokenized Assets Could Increase Liquidity Needs

X Finance Bull also cited several developments involving tokenized financial products. He pointed to Ondo Finance’s OUSG on XRPL, with RLUSD supporting 24/7 minting and redemption.

He also referenced work involving DBS, Franklin Templeton and Ripple around sgBENJI, RLUSD and XRPL. The commentator connected those developments to tokenized fund trading, lending and collateral activity.

He further mentioned ZILO, Licuido and Ripple Mint as parts of the infrastructure supporting issuance, transfers, collateral mobility, and RLUSD minting and redemption.

X Finance Bull’s central thesis is that tokenized finance will involve many forms of money and assets rather than one universal digital currency. He believes each additional asset or currency can create another liquidity connection that financial infrastructure must manage.

For X Finance Bull, XRP could fill that role by connecting assets and currencies when institutions need liquidity between different digital markets.
