Interest In Shiba Inu (SHIB) Surges in Canada and U.S., Beats Cardano (ADA) and Dogecoin (DOGE)

Shiba Inu (SHIB) has captured the attention of investors in Canada and the United States, surpassing the search interest for other prominent altcoins such as Dogecoin (DOGE) and Cardano (ADA).

Data from Google Trends reveals that Shiba Inu (SHIB) has consistently generated higher search volumes in Canada compared to its counterparts.

Similarly, Americans have also displayed significant interest in Shiba Inu (SHIB), with the token registering higher search volumes than Cardano and Dogecoin. The search data shed light on the growing popularity of Shiba Inu among cryptocurrency enthusiasts in these regions.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) Takes the Lead in Search Volumes

According to Google Trends, Shiba Inu has consistently topped the search volume in Canada over the past 30 days, surpassing the popularity of Dogecoin and Cardano.

Prior to the Shibarium announcement, Shiba Inu showed a peak search volume, indicated by a value of 100 on Google’s scale, denoting peak popularity. In contrast, Dogecoin and Cardano registered lower search volumes, hovering around a value of 30, signifying less popularity during the same period.

The trends in search volume over the past 90 days demonstrate Shiba Inu’s sustained popularity in Canada. Shiba Inu consistently maintained an above-average search volume, with a value above 50, while Dogecoin and Cardano lag behind with values closer to 25.

Notably, the search volume for Dogecoin briefly surpassed the 50 value at the end of July. These data suggest that Shiba Inu’s popularity is not solely driven by recent events, indicating sustained interest among cryptocurrency enthusiasts in Canada.

Canadian Interest in Shiba Inu Across Regions

Further analysis of the data revealed that interest in Shiba Inu is uniformly distributed across regions in Canada, rather than being concentrated in specific areas

Shiba Inu (SHIB) dominated search volumes in territories like the Northwest and Yukon, while Dogecoin and Cardano generated minimal interest. Similarly, in regions like New Brunswick, Newfoundland, and Labrador, Shiba Inu accounted for over 70% of the search volume.

Beyond Canada, Shiba Inu has also attracted significant interest from users in the United States. Recent search volumes demonstrate that Shiba Inu continues to generate higher search volumes compared to Cardano (ADA) and Dogecoin (DOGE) in the country.
