Unlike Tron, Polkadot (DOT) has put forth a better price performance in the last three months. Data from CoinMarketCap shows the value of the altcoin rose to a peak of $10 during the market rally in April.
However, there was strong resistance in this region. Polkadot could not cross it and started to plummet in the following weeks till it reached the $5 region in June. Still, analysts are optimistic about this cryptocurrency and forecast a Polkadot price surge to $7 as long as it remains above the $5 mark.
