Egrag Crypto to XRP Holders: The Red Roadmap Is Still Alive. Here’s What It Means

XRP is approaching a key technical level that could determine whether its current structure develops into a bullish breakout or another period of downside consolidation.

Crypto analyst Egrag Crypto has identified $1.65 as XRP’s confirmation level, noting that the token could revisit lower support if it fails to close above the price.

In an analysis posted on X, Egrag Crypto said XRP is currently holding around $1.45, but emphasized that the $1.65 level remains more important for determining the next major move. According to the analyst, a full-body weekly close above $1.65 would strengthen the bullish breakout structure and challenge the projected path shown on his chart.

The chart outlines a broader technical roadmap extending into 2028, with $8.30 marked as a potential long-term target. However, Egrag Crypto’s immediate focus remains on how XRP responds to the $1.65 resistance area.

Analyst Expects a Retest If XRP Fails at $1.65

Egrag Crypto said his primary scenario remains a rejection around $1.65, followed by a retest of the 333 EMA. He expects XRP to potentially establish another bottom or higher low during that process before resuming an upward move.

The analyst highlighted the $1.05, $0.95, and $0.85 levels as an important potential macro bottoming region. Rather than treating these prices as a single support level, he presented the entire zone as an area where XRP could establish a stronger base if the current structure fails to produce an immediate breakout.

His projected path therefore remains centered on XRP moving from approximately $1.45 toward $1.65, potentially facing rejection there, and then returning toward the 333 EMA before developing another bottoming structure and moving higher.

50 EMA and 333 EMA Convergence Gains Importance

Egrag Crypto also pointed to the relationship between XRP’s 50 EMA and 333 EMA as an important part of the current setup. His chart shows the 50 EMA moving downward while the 333 EMA continues to rise, leaving XRP trading between the two moving averages.

The analyst described this convergence as a potential major inflection point for XRP. A decisive move through the upper boundary could change the current technical structure, while continued rejection could keep the token within the falling structure identified on his chart.

For Egrag Crypto, $1.65 ultimately remains the key test. He stated that his projected path remains valid unless XRP “proves me wrong” by recording a strong weekly close above that level. A confirmed close above $1.65 would therefore invalidate his preferred rejection-and-retest scenario and provide a stronger technical basis for the bullish breakout structure shown in his analysis.
